As a Chick fil A employee...I can confidently say: We do NOT have a secret menu. The internet just made it all up. There are certain things not on the menu that we can/will make but no secret menu. And also buffalo sauce and a chicken sandwich? 😂 lol l. So does putting CFA sauce on a sandwich make it a secret menu item too? Also on the quesadilla question. Yes we can do that (in Colorado), I have had it, and it is tasty! Have a good night!

As someone who worked at a chick fil a for 2 years, and my wife still works there, I can tell you that we don’t have a menu with secret items we’re hiding from guests. And I’m not sure if ordering a bunch of things individually and piecing them together counts as a secret menu item. But I will tell you this- order two strips, a bun, and what ever toppings you want and put them together for a strip sandwich.
You got the IKEA special. You had to assemble everything yourself! 🤣
As a chickfila employee for years, the best dessert is my mocha frappe. Ask for a chocolate milkshake with oreo crumbs. Here's the thing, ask us to add some coffee base, from the frosted coffee and/or iced coffee, into your shake. It's delicious! I've been wondering for YEARS why it hasn't become a thing. We already have the ingredients to make it! lmao Also, in the mornings, I like to make myself a sort of affogato. Order a SM or LG coffee, but ask to leave some room, then ask if they can add some ice cream into it. Supper yummy and makes our hot coffee actually tolerable. Really brings out the nuttiness in the coffee. Go try these hacks!

fullerva1 sorry I worded it really badly , we can put sauces on our own sandwiches and such but when we are working in the kitchen we can’t put sauce in for them they have to do it themselves

At my location we allow customers to order frosted lemonades and switch out the lem for their choice of soda. My operator is just lenient about it I guess.

I’m a front leader at a Chick-fil-A and there’s also things like chocolate cookies and cream or chocolate strawberry shakes. And since it’s the peppermint shake season ask for iced coffee instead of shake base in your peppermint shake to make a peppermint mocha. I do all the time we can also still make the cookie sundaes if anyone remembers those. Just ask for a cookie and a large cup of ice cream 🍦
We can make strip sliders or Twitter bowls (nuggets/strips fries cheese and bacon) but ever location is different they may not offer those items specifically.
But the secret menu thing is not true mostly because there isn’t a proper way to charge for them that’s reasonable for the guest and company or because of specific requirements from health departments or from the company itself. I’ve never had anyone order any of the “secret menu” and I’ve been at Chick-fil-A for over a year now.

If no one knows what you are talking about and you just have to order a bunch of random elements separately, it’s not a secret menu. By this logic, any intolerable dickhead that dissects and picks apart a menu item while ordering it at a restaurant is just “Ordering off the secret menu”. Cfa doesn’t have a secret menu. They are far to militant about consistency and branding for that.

A secret menu is just a bunch of items on the menu added to an original menu item to spunk up you’re order. It’s only a secret but ppl don’t know how many choices and different items there are to experience You’re taking this entirely too far

If you really want to try something. Ask for a loaded fries. Just ask for straight or waffle fries, ask for cheese on top( your choice or cheese if your adventurous) and crumped bacon bits.
I’ve made it while working at night at chic file so I know it’s possible. If anything ask for everything separate
Let me give you something better, I’m an Assistant Manager at a location in VA.
- To fix that root beer float ask for a frosted lemonade, but tell them to replace the lemonade with your choice of soda. I’ve had people ask for a frosted strawberry lemonade with fruit punch and sprite.
- You can get custom cool wraps by adding what ever you like. I personally get spicy grilled chicken with tomatoes, corn, beans, tomato and extra cheese. Depending on how good the kitchen worker is they can pull off a chipotle size wrap.
- If your CFA still offers oatmeal chances are they also have the apple cinnamon packets which can be added to a milkshake. Now you have an Apple pie milkshake.
- A little secret that many employees don’t even know is that you sometimes can order spicy nuggets, but you gotta get to know an employee well.
- You can order Chicken Minis anytime of the day technically by doing a catering order. A small tray comes with 30. It’s a great treat to have with friends.
- Try what I call the “Big Chick.” Order a spicy deluxe and Chick-fil-A deluxe and ask for a grilled filet. Pile that monstrosity together with a middle bun sorta like a Big Mac.
- Order the Chicken Tortilla soup and ask for shredded cheese on the side. Put the cheese and some hot sauce and the tortilla chips and you got one hell of a soup.
- Don’t want a full size salad. Ask for a side salad and tell them to add all the toppings that come on the normal menu salads.
Finally I don’t know what this guy thinks is a secret menu is, but moral of the video is that everything is super customizable!
Down in North Carolina, I work at Chick-fil-A and we do not have quesadillas on a “secret menu”, but there is one guy who works in the back that will make them out of spicy fillets some times and they are amazing 😂. But on the buffalo sandwich, I can’t see any CFA doing this because we cannot put any sauce on a food item for a customer. But other than that the video was great 👌🏼
As a southern employee at chickfila in Mississippi, I can say that we used to sell quesadillas over the counter. We’re not allowed to make them even if a customer asks anymore. Occasionally on my break I’ll through a burrito shell on the grill with chicken and other ingredients with it as well and make a quesadilla myself.
Being from Atlanta, GA the home state of Chick-Fil-A it’s really good. Lunch hour it’s so busy and it’s worth the wait. If you haven’t had it... GO FOR IT... the regular menu.

As a former chick fil a employee in the south, I know the inns of the place. No one knows or cares about the secret menu or the names of secret menu dishes. We’d always encourage the guest to order what they want separately and assemble it at their table. While we care about the customer, that isn’t a menu item, so when we do something “special” like that, we cannot be to blame is something goes wrong.

If you have to make your own "secret" menu because the staff doesn't know what it is, then it doesn't qualify. Why would you pay someone to give you the ingredients to make it yourself?
We don’t have a secret menu; however at my location we got the cheese fries down pat. Just ask for whatever size fry you want then ask for it to be covered by the cheese mix from breakfast. Ask for it to be put in the 30 count container. Then stick it in the warming drawer for 5 minutes.

I used to work at Chickfila for a year and half and yes the chicken quesadillas are real. I’ve had em many times and they’re so good.
99% sure that none of these items are actually real.
- The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich: Literally just a chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce... That's not a secret.
- The Double Double Down/Cheese Fries: You had to make both of these yourself... Enough said there. (Although that double double down looks really good)
- The Root Beer Float: Not sure about this one. Only thing I have to go on is the fact that there was Ice in it, so I'm pretty sure you just ordered the drink and ice cream individually, then combined them.
- The Quesadilla: I've actually had this one before, but you didn't get it so I'm not gonna count it.

Top tip from a former CFA employee; ask for a grilled chicken cheesesteak! Best time to do it is usually between lunch and dinner. If they never heard of it and have to order stuff separately, ask for:
Grilled chicken fillet, chopped and cooked on the flat top with the Pepper & onion mix (or do it without the peppers and onions if you’re a sissy)
Cheese of your choice laid on top (mine’s pepper jack)
And ask for it on a catering roll. That’s the biggest part every one forgets about!!

Down here in Atlanta you can take chicken Alfredo home from chic fil a. The original location in Hapeville definitely has a secret menu, specially for breakfast.

2. Don't confidently order a double down. We have no clue what you're talking about. One time someone insisted we had it and I was so confused and I held up the drive thru line building it and then yelling back to the kitchen what it is
3. Yeah buffalo chicken is no biggie😂😂 we won't pour it on for you tho it's a health code violations I think. We also have spicy sandwiches
4. Root beer floats are so good!! I use Cherry Coke and mix it in a frosted lemonade cup cause I don't like root beer and it mixes better in a frosted cup

You have to go to the Chick-fil-A dwarf house in Atlanta it's a completely different menu it's kinda like a sit down restaurant style. Plus there's a Chick-fil-A retro diner too, near my brother in Atlanta

Next time you order the buffalo chicken sandwich, order it with pepper jack cheese (it won’t be crazy spicy don’t freak out!) and extra pickles with lettuce and tomatoes it’s to die forrrrr and try ordering your fries well done I alrdy love their fries how they are but it’s so good and I dip my fries into buffalo sauce instantly has my heart!!

The quesadilla thing is real haha it’s just not a good way to ring one up. Would be most similar priced out I think to our breakfast burritos. Our kitchen people will make these for break food occasionally usually will be like a breakfast tortilla, chopped nuggets, shredded cheese, maybe the corn/black bean blend from the salad table. The grill has to be used which it never is for lunch menu so that may be one thing that makes this a difficult item to order as a customer & then the pricing would be another hang up at the restaurant. But they are possible & delicious lol.

They make a spicy chicken sandwich. It can be served like the no frills sandwich (Chicken, bun, pickle) or with pepper jack and lettuce/tomato. Its far better than pouring nugget sauce on a sammich.

Heck yeah, I worked at Chick-fil-A in Texas for two years. These items have nothing on the real secret menu. Try fried pickles, bacon wrapped nuggets, spicy nuggets, spicy strips, actual bacon cheese fries, and yes we did have the quesadilla. You come to the south and ask for it we will make it!

as a person who lives in Buffalo New York, I feel more or less that the buffalo chicken sandwich is a gimmick calling it a "buffalo" chicken sandwich by just putting the hot sauce on it.

Most ‘secret menu items’ are just things like veggie wraps and larger portion sizes of foods that already exist but aren’t displayed, but that’s just based off of the chick fil a I work at.
The root beer float isn’t even a secret menu item where I live you can legitimately order it off the menu. The root beer float isn’t the only option you can get. They also have one made with coke, one with Powerade, and one with I think it was Dr Pepper.

So um I work at CFA and I’m like 95% sure you shouldn’t be able to do that😂 We price our ice cream based on the weight. (We as in CFA overall) So ummm unless you are getting a large ice cream in a large cup with root beer.... They aren’t supposed to be doing it😂

destinei jones It’s in richmond VA. All I know is that someone wanted us to pack the ice cream down into the cup to fit more and we weren’t allowed to bc apparently ice cream is priced by weight
