  • Today we will practice letting go, as letting go is just that, this guided meditation practice and can facilitate profound healing. I am honored to be your guide for this practice.
    Perhaps it is time to make space for something new. A new way of seeing things. As we dance the journey that is our life, we pick things up that may hold us back from growing, or from experiencing true happiness. These things we have picked up might be resentment, anger, or negative emotions and they can be stored in the body and held onto tightly.

    This meditation just saved my life. I was in the verge of suicidal depression after days of crying from a harsh break up feeling devastated and rejected. Just in time it calmed me down from my crying.

      Fannie Fan I just read your post, I hope you are feeling better. I can tell you from my own experience that at some time in the future you will discover this person you love is not the right one for you and the reasons why you would not be happy. Before you open your heart again, do make sure you know the person really well before you allow yourself to ‘fall in love’ again, it takes about a year at least, you can be good friends first, build a strong foundation, but, ‘love at first sight, or rushing in too quickly often results in suffering. Self love. Give yourself what you need to heal your broken heart. You will not always feel this way. Sending love and strength 🙏

    Agree with all of the positive comments. manifestation.guide The speaker has a lovely, gentle Scottish lilt and a very calming "way with him". It would be nice to have two versions of the guided breathing meditation, the 2nd one having a little less coaching, but that is about the only criticism I would have.

    For anyone just beginning their "letting go practice"..I encourage you to let go of one thing at a time. it can be daunting for the mind to think of some many people or situations to let go of. be kind to yourself today and everyday

    I cried this morning. Like a baby. I love Sarah Raymond and The Mindful Movement. I have cancer and I have been trying to be positive and optimistic. For the most part, I've been doing really well, but this morning I needed to cry and let go. This meditation allowed me to let my emotions out. I have been doing meditations with Sarah for the past few weeks since my diagnosis and I can't say how much they have helped with both my positive and optimistic attitude, but also my ability to let go of negative emotions, fears, and regrets. I highly recommend her. I am not someone naturally drawn to meditation and I don't make comments on many videos on YoutTube, but this morning I was compelled to do so. Thank you, Sarah.

    Sara, Xmas 2020: Thank you for this timely meditation. I am an old man and yet just buried my father. We had a difficult relationship for all these years and today I get to release some of my hurt and resentment toward him. Today I will go to his fresh grave and tell him of these anchors I've been carrying my whole life and leave them with him. You are one of God's angels, thank you.

      If you're still reading the replies I hope you're doing well. I have had to soldier through stuff like that it's not easy. I would at times use constructs I empowered sometimes to cope. It may benefit you to try the exercises at the Drukama tradition school check it out!

    This made me imagine a gently flowing stream, and placing any negative energy on the stream to let it go and flow away. Focus on the water in front you. Believe that what you need will flow down to you, and what you don't, you can let go. Thanks so much for all your work!

    I just broke up with my girlfriend of 5 years. It has been the hardsest to let go of, or transition from. There has a been a lot of emotion around it. Accepting it has been the hardest. Today after listening to this I feel a little more at ease. I still love her. Always will. I will learn from this. This has been added to my nightly playlist. Thank you.

    Your meditations have saved my life so far. ♥️ 🙏 I haven’t quite made it to a place of safety. But maybe by next year. I suffered so more setbacks recently. But I guess there are a lot of people out there who have suffered much worse.

      I really hope you can get to a safe place!
      I was so happy for this video, all the negative interactions I have had with people in my life, and I see them as monsters, and then she said - see them as you, and they all disolved in to smoke.
      I could not be angry and hurt, I was in their body and hurt as hell and evil as hell.. And I had to forgive myself.. And forgiving me was easy, and them too in the same second.. Try her video about gratitude! I love that one too. 🙏❤

    My resentment showed up as a heavy drop of energy in the left side of my skull. I let go, I let go. My vision pulsated with red. Tears flowed down, and you carried me to a soothing place. I embraced the me in them.

    😄HELL0, I JUST COMPLETED FOUR SESSIONS OF THIS MEDITATION, EACH DAY I WAS GRATEFUL TO LET GO OF SO MUCH JUNK, I WAS ABLE TO DELETE SO MUCH NEGATIVITY I've BEEN CARRYING AROUND IN MY COMPUTER BRAIN THAT WAS SO UNHEALTHY THANK YOU FOR THIS THERAPY!     I realize through this, i've been holding myself back and also the fear controlling me and thats okay. Im admiting and realizing this becaue im going through change. Theres a lot of obstacles and that what tested me to find more ways to overcome it. Failures are the best lessons. Thank you!

    Ultimately when I envisioned those who I had strained relationships, those who I created resentment against, I was led to envisioning my own self.. and through this meditation I was able to forgive myself. I forgave myself for so much I didn’t even know I was holding against myself.. this meditation is so powerful and cathartic and I thank you for sharing your love and light with me.
    My life is changed forever, and I know this new state of liberty from the grudges I held against myself will allow me to love again. To live again. Thank you.

    A blessed healing, to release past or recent past events that cant be changed. I will return to this valuable practice, i do believe we carry much that causes physical ilness. Deep down i know this and learned the hard way, now i immediately recognize & address anything negative pending resentment that can fester in a negative way.

    Living in the past had long been a problem for me because, of course, I recalled only the “bad” things. This meditation has helped me see it was simply stuff that happened. If I step back and observe these events objectively, there are insights and lessons I can apply to live more calmly and grounded today. There’s a saying I like: It’s OK to glance back at the past, just don’t stare.

    Just glancing at the messages below, I, too, feel the power in this meditation. When you note, "You have made," about the feelings and memory about a situation or person, it was as though all of my cells lit up with understanding. *I'm* the one who is holding onto those energies, replaying the conversations and feelings. *I'm* the one who can choose to replace the negativity and memory with shining light instead, and give myself the space to heal by really being willing to let it drift away so that I may live my life more fully and much lighter.     Thank you for this meditation. I have chosen to go on a deep self healing journey from trauma, anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation. I'm creating a new practice for myself and my life. Lots of meditation, mindfulness, relaxing music, I've taken extended time off work, I got rid of all my social media accounts, I'm giving myself permission to heal, to be kind to myself, to show myself love and compassion, to accept my feelings , the allow myself to express myself and lots more. It's changing my life for the better. It's not easy but this is all worth it. I am worth it.

    Hi Sara thank you so very much for creating this meditation- it is wonderful and so very powerful!!!!
    Letting go gave me space in my heart for other important people that I already know plus others I haven’t met yet.
    Instead of letting go of shame, I changed it to letting go of disappointment. My issue was disappointment with an event and the treatment by a close friend over this issue. She was very cold, hard and didn’t understand me at all.
    This lead to my downward spiral with negative self thoughts / esteem and it has consumed me for 2 years!!!!
    My friend never owned it or tried to resolve it properly.Her way was to ignore it all and move on. She didn’t have the heart or the guts to address it properly.
    I got a lot of outside help- 2 psychologists and a neighbour who does reiki plus a network of friends.
    But I was still hanging onto it. So during our current COVID lockdown I found your meditation.
    I realised the only person who could finally fix this was me and by holding onto it I was only punishing myself.
    You have given me this solution and guided me to that point.Thank you Sara from the bottom of my heart 🌷💜

    9.40am Thursday and my 1st video. I scrolled thru a gazillion vids on all subjects and chose this one. You have become just as important as that epilogue in The Waltons in the 70s UK that I especially watched and took refuge, comfort and love from a dysfunctional family I had back then. Your voice here at the beginning took me back to that time with the calm thoughts of John Boy from The Waltons and it evoked a brief tear but I find refuge and comfort with you at a difficult time but you are making the difference. Currently CKD Stage 3a on my last kidney and I'm hoping that Daily doses of #TheMindfulMovement with #SaraRaymond and #LesRaymond will halt the CKD decline and see a Sojourn of Good Health, mentally and physically.     Thank you! That was so beautiful and I needed that. I hold onto so much resentment around my step dad. My family as a whole. I’ve got to let them all go! Very toxic. I worry if I can make it on my own. Thank you. ❤️🙏🏻🤗

    I found this one of my fav meditations until about 22 minutes. When you have suffered from narcissist abuse for years, this part isn't helpful. I do love the 1st 21 minutes! Thank you!❤

    Thank you Sara for creating and sharing all your beautiful meditations.
    I realized with this one in regards to false expectations, that I expected my parents to parent me, when in fact they were only capable to birth, nest, cloths n feed me. On a mental, emotional, psychological or spiritual level they were able only to forward unconscious abuse, which brought me to look for help in the unseen spiritual world. It was a painful, but rewarding long journey n it’s time to let the past go 🙏🧡❤️🧡

    I have recently found the meditations of The Mindful Movement and I'm impressed. I join you from The Netherlands. Sara's voice is beautiful. The contents of the meditations are profound. Dutch is a pretty harsh language. It's my mother tongue. I love the “soft” usage of the words “allow yourself”, “give yourself permission”. No “shoulds”, no “ought to's”. Gentle “permission” and “allowance”. I'm 73 years old. Finally giving myself “permission” . Beautiful mediations. Thank you, Sara.

    I don't know who else is here during 2020. But wow this has helped me. I always come to this video when I feel the heaviness take over. My body holds on for dear life and I feel paralyzed and weighed down. But these meditations help me feel unclogged so to speak. 😂. Thank you many blessings for you and your family. ❤ I need to incorporate this to my daily routine and not let myself get to the place where I can't move. There is just so much going on in this world with covid and elections and losing my job due to my mental health. Glad to have community here on CZcams. ❤ 🙏🏼✌🏼🙋🏻

    My 3 year relationship with my boyfriend came to an end 3 days ago. I cried the first 2 days and then last night I began to feel a mixture of aggravation and nothing at all. I don’t like when I feel both aggravated AND numb and I know this happens because I eventually grow tired of being sad, but I need to release these emotions so I can properly process everything and heal. This guided meditation helped a lot. Although I found myself feeling impatient at times, I’m glad I got through it and I will be doing this and the guided releasing meditation every night before bed to help me in this process of my loss.
