@randomdude2546 you are trolling right? The wood grip that's on the forend of both the Lincoln repeater and the Lever action (point lookout) that is noticeably not present on the rifle in this video.
Damn, that’s a gorgeous work of art. Thanks for sharing your collection with us. I’ve been mostly bed bound lately due to health issues and haven’t been able to go to the range for a while now. I love getting to see your clips. Much love ❤🤙!
Looks like a replica shooting .44-40 cartridges first used by Winchester in 1873. Cowboy Action ammo using modern smokeless powder. I have a replica 1866 Yellowboy also in .44-40 Winchester. Lots of fun to shoot! Cartridges for the originals with black powder are not made to my knowledge. They are made by Uberti and available from Cimmaron in Texas and Taylors in Virginia.
You should load some 240 grain leads for it... Hits much better in my experience. I powder coat them too... At least for 44-40... Using ffffg swiss holy black in those.
With this loading mechanism, I really wonder how a handguard would works for this rifles, like in Point Lookout Fallout 3, may be the handguard doesn't cover up with loading tubes and it's loading slider, so the handguards are just two pieces of woods on both side.
Older Marlin are a bit better than Henry's. Anything new Marlin went to shit and Henry is the clear winner. Ruger bought Marlin recently and started making lever guns again so time will tell
Very very little chance with being flat faced bullets. That's why all lever guns are usually made in calibers that are rounded or flat nose bullets and not spitzer style bullets like 223
@@postaldude7879 There is a chance at least. If I'm not wrong, Ian from Forgotten Weapons had an injury from that exact scenario. I think he told that in the gun safety video, don't remember what it's called exactly.

Ok Poser
it's actually the lancaster repeater
@Wasman29 no, it isn't. The Lancaster has a wooden foregrip
@@Colayith oh yeah you’re right
This gun is a pain to shoot in real life, powder burns, a barrel that heats up and that barrel is an insanely unbalanced.
I love this golden finish on Henry. In 1860-1880s almost every rifle and pistol had golden finish and it was beautiful.
Not gold it's a brass reciever. All those guns with gold finish you're talking about were actually brass parts
@@Gameprojordan yep. Brass, like gold, just has that warm look and feeling about it. Beautiful.

Yeah, but they added a forend to it, which bothers me cause that would block your ability to reload
