      Dmitry James Finn, I think the problem is that if he tried to ‘modernize’ it to today’s regulations & safety standards, it would be virtually unrecognizable. There’s no way the IIHS, or the American government (or any government for that matter) would allow a car to be made available to the public today as is.

      @TheZProtocol Před 5 lety +2

      I'd say the 1990-1997 Cutlass Supreme. The 4 door sedan is more distinctively Oldsmobile than the 1971 as much as I hate to admit. the 1971 Cutlass looks more like the Chevelle than its own Oldsmobile flair.

    • @Aeprl
      @Aeprl Před 5 lety +2

      TheZProtocol the thing is that the 1969-1971 cutlasses are iconic, they’re famous for their taillights and their engine, but the 80’s cutlass is also nice.

      @@Aeprl I see. In my case, when I think Oldsmobile, the G Body Cutlass Supreme instantly pops up in many people's mind. Totally disagree. I had a 71’ Cutlass S. Naturally you have a right to your opinion but if I ask you to look at the front of a 71’ Delta 88 or Ninety Eight maybe you’ll see nothing but Oldsmobile on the Cutlass front end. But here’s something, if you look at the 70’ Oldsmobile 98 taillights then look at the 70’ Monte Carlo taillights do you see a resemblance? Maybe the Cutlass should have had those taillights
