Perfect Mascara Routine for Huge Long Lashes

- I have been using this routine for years and my eyelashes always look super long :)
To wash off I just use warm water. It comes off very easily with no picking or tugging on the lashes.

Upon viewing this video, I thought the same thing. "Damn, girl's already got eyelashes to her brows, of course this works for her!". But since I don't like false lashes or fiber lash mascaras, I was determined to try her technique. I have very frail/fine lashes, and they suck at holding a curl. I used her technique with my Too Faced Better Than Sex and Falsies "Flared" mascara and holy shit, if my eyelashes weren't just as long and full as hers when I was done! Brilliant technique. I will say though, if you have brittle eyelashes, don't do as many coats as she does, because it will weigh heavy on the lashes and might cause breakage when removing the mascara with makeup remover or soap. Ugh I can't wear that fiber mascara either it is so irritating & putting on falsies is just a plain old pain in the @$$.... I'm gonna definitely try this out, the technique but with different mascaras because I have a ton already & don't wanna go buy ne more.... So hopefully it works with wat I already hav!!!

you know when i turned 16 years old my folks asked what i wanted for my birthday and i said i want a session with a make up artist to learn how to put on make up in different styles. i live in a small town so my folks took me to the city we are close too and they paid for a make up artist to teach me and OMG did she teach me different styles. it took a lot of practice but now i master every style but what she didn't teach for to do my lashes as beautiful as yours. so Thank you for putting up this tutorial. I'm starting to get the hang of it and my make up looks perfect every time!!!

oh my gosh I actually like you! I've subscribed to other make up channels but they're all annoying, I figured that was just the way make up channels are. but you actually speak in a normal octive, you're not prissy and spoiled, you do amazing makeup, you're a great instructer, your camera angles are perfect, you talk has you put on the make up where other people fast foreward and voice over and you can't even follow whats happening. you have great tips, and you're not one of those people who is like "okay to do this you're going to need 7 different products that cost over $20 each but its TOTALLY *not* worth it!" thank you. YAY! I've been looking for this! A girl with long lashes applying mascara. I have mega long thick dark lashes and people say I don't need eyeliner or mascara cause theres no difference etc etc but I still like to apply it. Thing is, no one (that i know of) has put a tutorial of applying mascara on natrual long lashes so THANK YOU! Helped so much.

Aply castor or argan oil to your lashes everynight before sleeping in the morning you wash it of! If you repeat it for a while you'll notice your lashes growing thicker and longer :)

Actually you don't need long lashes to start with for this routine, i have medium lashes and when i did this routine with 2 different mascara and the way she said how to do them i actually got long lashes like hers!

I just tried this technique this morning, and WOW, does it work! My lashes look huge, thick, and long. I did comb them out with a clean mascara brush (as I always do, just to get rid of any clumps, and to make them look more natural). I have always had a really big problem with getting mascara on my eyelids - my lids were virtually mascara-free with this technique. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing your routine - can't wait to watch your other videos!

I started to use your trick of applying the mascara to the ends first, then the base after and it's working amazing. It totally keeps my curl without using waterproof mascara. Great tip!

I might try this for my lashes. Everyones tips are different and provide, of course, different results but sometimes make-up/beauty is a trial and error process. I'm in love with her lashes because I adore and get jealous over long lashes, so trying her mascara tips might help, you never know. The brand of mascara also is HUGE factor in how your lashes will look. I tried the L'Oreal Voluminous (sp?) Fiber Waterproof mascara (its gold, thats all I know it as.) And my eyelashes are pretty close to what I want them as compared to other brands I have convinced myself to try. Going back to the previous sentence, the ones I have tried for my lashes have not came close to the Gold mascara. (L'Oreal)
So another tip that I have learned from buying a bunch of brands is if you find a mascara you love (I have 3) keep using those same ones because you will most likely not find another result close to those. Also mixing mascara's come into play with certain results (as shown in this girls video, sorry this is my first time watching her so I don't know her name.) So therefore, in conclusion beauty is simply a trial and error process.
Miss Manga's brush results in spidery, clumpy lashes, in my opinion. I've fallen in love with Cover Girl's Lash Exact and their Exact Eyelights mascara (I have the formula for blue eyes). But my all time favorite is L'Oreal's Butterfly mascara!
i have really short eyelashes, shorter than normal believe me. i tried this what she said this morning and IT WORKS, fml i tried to get long lashes for years, tried every frickin mascara and this video shows me that its not just the mascara you use - the technique is way more important!!

Ugh...some of these comments that I'm seeing. She's giving great tips that anyone can use. Not just people with long eyelashes like hers. Girls shouldn't expect their lashes to look exactly like hers when they're done. That's like thinking I'll look like any makeup or mascara ad and/or commercial if I buy and use that product. We need to be more realistic and more confident with what we have and these types of tutorials are meant to enhance someone's features.

The only problem I have with this tutorial is that my eyelashes don't keep a curl for long especially when it's hot so when I clump on a lot of mascara, even waterproof, it gets heavy and slowly starts to curve back downwards (I have straight lashes). Not to mention lots of mascara irritates contacts if you're a lens wearer like me :(
I'm still trying to find the perfect way to get thick lashes without false lashes.. Maybe it has to do with mascara formulas. The mystery ensues!

This tip worked for me! I used the loreal butterfly intenza mascara. Starting with the shorter, thinner side first to use at the ends of my lashes and then turned the wand to the thicker side to brush thru from the root. Making sure to wait for them to dry between each coat. Awesome tip!

This is amazing!!! That's such a great idea to go over the tips first before the roots. My eyelashes are naturally relatively long, but they look so short when I don't have any mascara on, because the tips are waaaay lighter than the roots. The roots up to the middle of my eyelashes are black, and the middle to the tips are blonde. I've found that my mascara actually accentuates that, which I hate, and now I've realized that it's probably because I always start at the roots, rather than the tips. This should help so much. Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing this. This really works. After having eyelash extensions, my lashes were short and sparse. This technique really helped to hide that and now that my lashes are back to how they were before the extensions, I'm really loving how my lashes are looking when I apply this method. Yes, this is the most mascara I've ever worn, but it's easy to do with great results. Also don't worry if you don't have the exact brands as in the video. I'm just using 2 of my fav brands and results are the same.
