Would you risk half a season of PL to get Toney. It's bafflingly stupid that we paid over the top for Havertz who has played for 3 years in PL and still needs time to adjust. I don't even want to waste my breath over Nketiah as Arteta is definitely guilty of favoritism. He froze Tierney out even when we definitely lack cover at defense at times chz he can't "invert" and gives chance after chance to Nketiah who might get an odd goal vs mid/bottom tier teams but completely out of depth vs a good opposition.

As a Spurs fan, my own opinion on Arsenal is that in terms of actual performance, Arsenal have been poor on the pitch since they first played Leeds last season, but they got the wins which for many masked how bad the team actually is. Back end of last season and into this season it is catching up on them.

The absolute most we deserved was a point. Barring PSV we haven't played that well this season-and even in that game there were times we looked vulnerable. So today is no surprise. We can't keep nicking games in stoppage time. Jorginho-scandalous. I can accept most mistakes but not a lack of focus like that in a NLD. Also-that's another goal conceded from a kickoff...just like the 1st minute goals we've conceded. Something isn’t quite right.

The thing that people are reluctant to accept is that a lot of our poor play was down to Spurs. They made our passing look bad because they were quick to press and intercept and were very quick on the counterattack. Their manager has also got them defending surprisingly well and they seemed to anticipate a lot of our moves. Maybe that is what a full week of preparation allows.
PSV was a false dawn and if we don't improve we are really going to struggle to get top four this season, let alone challenge City for the title.

Reiss' 20 minutes played was worth more than anything Jesus or Eddie were doing. If Odegaard or Saka wasn't available then best believe they weren't getting anything to go for forward possession. Arsenal had an insane number of bottled transition play that it was embarrassing to watch. Saliba saved that backline, bloody hell was the possession shocking, especially with Rice off. Having Martinelli and Trossard out definitely affected us. The injuries are our biggest problem.

As a spurs fan i wish our team would treat a draw like this like a loss. That’s ambitious mentality. Spurs struggle to have that

It is two points dropped for Spurs but this lot fancied themselves for the Premiership and we've put a spanner in their works and we've properly pissed off these reds. Every cloud mate. 👍

Tottenham played well. And defended with their lives. Why is it a case of Arsenal played “poorly”

@@magik410 yes but you could have dropped 3 magik.!! Any Arsenal fan knew this wouldn’t be easy ride and spurs look a decent side this season. Both of us unbeaten in 6 games. Tell me the last time this happened in English football history.?? Going to be a good season. We’ll done an the draw. You played well and spurs look very organised and passionate

@@magik410 then they don’t know football and refuse to analyse the stats. Spurs were unbeaten in 5 before this result. No way Arsenal were winning this game comfortably and strolling to 3 points. You got Liverpool next Saturday - A massive task by all accounts again. They haven’t lost either so far. Going to be very interesting

I work with Arsenal fans & they were all saying Spurs were in for a reality check. Well guess what, Spurs handed Arsenal a reality check today, you’re nowhere near as good as you thought you were & will not be winning the league again this season.
