They are not truly independent to this day. If someone steals your car keeps it for ten years and puts 10,000 miles on it and returns it will you say thank you, I don't think so. America, with all of its systemic racism is not the best country in the world for black people. Slavery and colonization of Africa were so evil that the psychological trauma and damage, which still affects us today, and the autrocites committed against black people are immeasurable. Malcolm X explained in detail the difference between the house slave and the field slave. The house slave loved his oppressor and was happy being a slave. What Jesse doesn't understand is that if black people for the past 400+ years, didn't complain, stand up, and fight for justice, rebel, and protest, black people still be walking around in physical chains including himself. Black people need to get rid of the mental chains of slavery and free our minds through knowledge, because some of us are still enslaved in the mind.

🤓🤓🤓 one thing that you must realize is a lot of Africans today is the product of refugee camps due to different Wars that was started up by other countries around the world. Remember all those babies they used to show us on TV with the pop stomachs, Gnats and flies hanging around the eyes and mouths in the refugee camps example Tanzania and Rwanda those babies that was in that war as refugees they are now approximately 20 to 30 years old now.
A lot of countries in Africa is so populated it is hard to Build schools for children so they can receive the books to know about these things so it's not the people fault.
Thanks the United States government and other European countries for placing sanctions on African countries telling them what they can and cannot teach the children.
These are reasons why many Africans do not know that slavery existed.
We must look at Africa holds the youngest largest population on the planet, that is because of wars European countries and the United States killed off the elders then no one is there to teach them the history.

I am glad to have been born in America and am maximizing my opportunity here. I have respect for Africa but I don't want to live in any country there over America. Slavery was wrong and is wrong. I admire you but we part on your admiration for slavery. Slavery was one of most terrible atrocity that ever happened to our african ancestors especially during the middle passage, and the fact that most not them were numbered among the cattle or other animals.
You were brought up on a plantation after the dehumanizing of your ancestors. Should you continue to live in bitterness? No!
But you should let our ancestors be proud of you not letting their innocent blood shed in vain. Help your brethren to be strong - in their self identity, to appreciate their roots and to be encouraged to visit or stay in their ancestoral land is they so desire.
If slavery was such a good thing, God would not have to come down at the cry of His people, in order to deliver them out of bondage.
Note, that they were also compensated for their works of slavery - as the borrowing from the Egyptians were actually payments for work they and some of their ancestors had not been payed for.
You may want to say you have a right to this land like anyone else; due to the atrocities committed to you ancestors; but most certainly, slavery was not a good thing and can never be regarded as such.
