I am always so inspired by your long runs in these fantastic environments 😊 I miss the time when I could trailrun longer distances, participate in Ironman etc. These days I can only run a few kilometers due to severe arthritis that attacks my knees and ankles. The lesson from this is to never take anything for granted. Enjoy your active life, and good luck with the race 💪

Less than 24 hours till go time! Best of luck Jeff and crew! Will be following along and hope you have a blast. Such a beautiful part of the world to immerse yourself into. Those nighttime long exposure shots were a real treat. Only time I've been able to experience that level of no light pollution must have been in the panhandle of Oklahoma.

Hi Jeff-You might try a product called Ayr to help minimize the nosebleeds. It’s an OTC saline gel (or you can get a spray) to help keep your nasal membranes moist. My doc suggested it to me and it has really helped. Good luck in the race & hope the weather conditions are perfect for you!🤞😎

No, it was vein piped from a creek on the other side so would need to be filtered.
Bit of an irrelevant and unimportant question, but what sunglasses do you use for runs? Wanting to test some new product this Winter.

I’ve been wearing Smith sunglasses for the most part. They seem to be high quality and quite durable, so I’d definitely recommend them, although not the cheapest option.
@JeffPelletier Appreciate it, I thought that you might be wearing Smiths. Any particular frame/model? Not too familiar with their products aside from helmets and visors.
They’re one of the ‘Everyday’ models, I believe the Headliners.
Is the thing on Jeff's arm the sweat sensor? Is that to ascertain how much you're losing over time?

I used a 1.5L bladder plus two flasks for this one.
I'm interested to know like to know which kind of runner you are. I mean forefoot strike, mid foot strike or heel strike. Many thanks
I’m a mid to forefoot striker for sure.
