    In the late seventies and early eighties the Rockpalast concert's got broadcasted every sunday evening on German WDR. I still remember this great Pirates gig. What a fantastic band with such an unique sound and style. Pure energy! Very sad that current rock bands can't play like that.

    Xavier is here!! Mick Green is "The Guv'nor" Master of The Telecaster. Followed Mick & The Pirates since the sixties. THE BEST Rock & Roll band EVER!!!

    Absolutely rocking! A phenomenal band - this is real rock! On a par with The Who and Led Zep - The Pirates should have been just as big!

    yeh i only sold my copy of out of their skulls last year, ive got em on cd,they were reissued a couple of years back,out of their skulls,skull wars,happy birthday rock n roll

    the pirates are awesome. mick influenced generations of rockers from the beatles(he played with paul mccartney for years -he and david gilmour on guitars) to dr feelgood(wilko's main inspiration)
