  • Psychology professor David Pizarro reveals how our disgust responses influence our moral judgements & political beliefs.
About TEDx= In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

So now we know how to make people more conservative, but how do you make them more liberal?

@@shakey3306 Most self-identifying libs nowadays are just dishonest conservatives. All the pro-booster, pro-trans, pro-censorship, anti-Russian, anti-Assange "libs" haven't got a lefty bone in their body. That's why the far-right has seemingly disappeared. It just manifests itself differently now.

This makes sense, since disgust is a defense mechanism, it proves that being a liberal is a something we should avoid, it's poison!

New examples about use "disgust" as propaganda tool are coming from feministic circles.
It's made by association of child molestation with "disgust" and after that repetitive connecting words "man" and "child molestation".
My favorite example is use of "abuser" and "he" interchangeably by female psychiatrists.
