As somewhat of a DBD newbie (been playing religiously for 4-5 months), I’m so proud of myself for being able to identify Self Preservation during Level 19 @20:42 , Franklin’s during Level 21 @29:05 , and flip flop during Level 18 @14:07 while also following all the rules of the test. My final score: 23 😂 I got a few tough ones though! Please do more of these videos! This was a very fun interactive video.
A really a cool concept and fun for the viewers too, since we can join in. The clips are also of high quality. I never felt like that the perk wasn't guessable. Very well done.
This was a lot of fun to do to be honest, but some clips really hurt my brain haha. The editing is out of this world and turned out amazing! I bet you're exhausted after it, but keep up the great work!
Bruh... Honestly this video must have taken so long to make... One of the best dbd videos and ideas I've ever seen! Major props and it was so fun to take part in 😁
@@wgovierberry He'd be like "Oh, I know this perk, I know this perk! Fuck! I did a video on it a week ago... it's uhhhh... that resident evil one... bite the bullet!" and the answer would be like resurgence lol
I usually don't comment on CZcams, but I must say that this has been one of the most entertaining videos I've seen in a while! Absolutely brilliant idea and the execution was fantastic!
For someone as me, who doesn’t know much of dbd perks I must say that this video was still one of the best dbd videos I have seen. The way you involved and included the audience by letting us watch the clips was amazing. Really good work, I’m hoping for a similar video in the future!! :)
i’ll be honest the agitation and shadowborn ones were immediate guesses for me, self preservation was definitely the hardest one to notice though. Great video :)
For me Self-Preservation and Diversion were such quick guesses haha. SP was my first guess of that clip since we see it first anyway. Then Resurgence and Plaything were pretty much handed to us. When Billy hit the Nea, I checked instantly for Lucky Break but I saw the blood, so I ruled it out. Then Steve goes down, and suddenly Nea leaves no scratch marks, blood or noise. But I think if I hadn't been paying attention to Lucky Break at first I wouldn't have found it. A really underused perk, so it makes sense lots of people wouldn't guess it. Since I actually use the perk, it was obvious to me.
@@Libellulaire the problem is that the perk isnt popular or being used i actually never heard of the perk until this video You are problaly an selfish yun-jin main who blames on its being lore accurate 💀 no offense
I got 3 of the impossible ones. I barely got Franklin's, as I was too obsessed with overcome, I realised it was agitation as soon as Pyramid Head went zoom zoom after picking up Nea, and as a Blight main who's addicted to it, I knew it was shadowborn from the very first frame lmao
I like how the red herrings were set up, kinda reminds me of that video where it asks you to pay attention to how many times a ball gets passed around between a group of people and then you don't even notice the monkey going through the middle of the group
A fun concept. If this were touched up just a bit, I think this could be a really effective means of teaching new killers or survivors what perks their opponents may be running.
OK THIS WAS SO FUN. Infuriating too, because I couldn't guess almost anything right lol. It's a pretty cool idea and a surprisingly helpful way to know what to look for when trying to figure out a perk during a game. SupaAlf's answers make this video they're so funny and chaotic.
For the last perk, I was thinking Bloodhound, but then I noticed the Wraith addon. I did consider Lithe, but it just didn't feel right seeing the Nea after the Wraith vaulted. I also thought Predator before the vault, but I knew that I wasn't it. The Steve on the chest didn't seem right, either, so I wasn't really paying attention to that. Then I thought of Shadowborn, noticing that the sides on the screen had more FOV, and that would make the Nea look faster. Then, I said, 'Shadowborn, final answer,' and when you said it was Shadowborn, I can not tell you how excited I got. I feel more proud of that than I probably should be.
At the last level there (level 25) there also a Hex perk of some sorts in the backround which couldn't have any other Hex apart from Hex:Thrill of the hunt, because of you getting more bloodpoints when grabbing Steve, maybe. Might be the best video off all time on DBD, just great content.
I liked the video a lot! My only issue was the music being so loud during the first viewing of the gameplay footage. Made it really hard to focus on the clip itself. Banger video tho
Small inconsistency on the final level, at 32:46, right as wraith is turning with steve on his shoulder, you can clearly see the ambulance pallet is blocked. We see previously that there is a hex and all survivors are hit so this means the perk could also be Blood Favour, you can see it for like half a frame but it's there. I claim double points for this discovery
The shadow born clip was so easy, as someone who got almost none, that one felt extremely easy compared to others. I guess they got so fixated in analysing everything that they didn't even notice the FOV
Not only was this very entertaining to test their knowledge on perks, I've learned you know the most about DBD. You know things most people don't, would be a cool series on the channel.
Yeah, I caught that one as well, it's hex: blood favor. If you go frame by frame at 32:47, right after grabbing the Steve, there is a blocked pallet next to the van on the left.
Was going into this very confident with getting high score, ended up with 43, from the impossible got only the Shadowborn because I have obsession with high FOV in a lot games and can notice the difference very easily, ggs, very fun concept
last clip, right as the wraith turns around from the nea to the steve, you can see the aura of a hex totem in the distance. Now there would be no way of knowing which one it is, but there's definitely another perk here besides shadowborn^^
Is nobody gonna talk about how the wraith in the last challenge had blood favor? I drove myself insane trying to figure it out and I felt so smug when I saw the hex totem, and the 2 frames where you saw the ambulance pallet get blocked after he grabbed steve, but that wasn't the answer 📺🖥
I am disappointed that I got the harder ones and completely whiffed on most of the easy ones. I can certainly feel Alf's pain, as a killer main, remembering the survivor perks is a pain. Good on you to help with the names, even if he was wrong.
also in the last clip, there was another perk used too, unless it was there intentionally, which was probably a hex perk. I saw a totem in the background and the pallet was blocked off when you grabbed steve. Unless blood favor doesnt activate like that, but there was definitely a second perk used in this clip
I'm so used to seeing them play so damn good in youtube however I really like seeing them human making mistakes. This was a really really unique video.
I'm happy i was able to get one of the "impossible" level ones, i knew the wraith one was shadowborn right away because i always run it lol. I can tell the fov difference in DBD instantly now without any hints like the weapon or whatever because the screen just looks really obviously zoomed out to me whenever it's used lol.
Dawg, this is like taking those tests in high school where the answers are complete red herrings and the timer is just there to weed out ADHD people. xD I thought this was a identification test and it ended up being a "Spot the weird thing, but we're gonna obscure it, oops you're out of time" sort of test.
17:17 I honestly at first thought it was lucky break but I saw the nea’s blood at first when she got hit and it went away after Steve got hit which is funny because I don’t even have the perk or the character for it but I felt so smart because of that. Btw these are some really fun videos and I enjoy testing how much I know about this game while watching people that have thousands of hours in it try to guess some of this stuff and I can 100% say that it does get really hard at parts.
Hilariously I figured out the pools of blood were hidden, but I've never seen a perk like that, so after a long time of researching, I decided I must be delusional. Turns out "self preservation" is a thing, I've never heard of it before
