  • My very first diy homemade truck bed tent for my Ford Ranger. Made by waterproof fabric.
*small in size. Easy to bring along anyway.
    *light weight. 3kg
*easy assembly by one man. 7 minutes to fix.
*Safe camping without worry of wet floor, animal attack and strong wind.

Very nice. I like that bed cover. What is it? I'm thinking someone could do one mounted underneath it with snaps or velcro and it would be even faster setup.

Impressive! I was doing shopping recently and saw a pick up with a lid similar to yours and thought that one could make a pop up tent of some kind, and then I saw your video and proved it!

Hi Eric, where did you get the poles to swing out the awning at the back and the support sticks for the awning of the side windows? Nice video, I really like how simple it is to setup, and easy to pack up and this is a more budget friendly choice than buying a tent. Can you do a closer look video showing the insides and 360° view of it so we can have an idea more or less of how you made it, materials used, etc. Thanks!

Hi CJ.. thank you for watching and like my video. I'm using painting aluminium pole for the back awning and cooper welding rod for the window awning 😁😁😁

@@ericl4x4adventure7 thank you so much for the info Eric. Very impressive and practical. Haven't seen anything like it on youtube! Quite unique, I am inspired to do a D.I.Y. Project like this soon because of your video! Been looking around for camping tents/gear and they are way too expensive or very hard to setup. Hard to find also since I'm from the Philippines. This is just perfect, I'm planning to use a top-up/flip-up cover on the Ranger similar to yours. Cheers and more power to you!

thanks for your reply ericL loong.
i'm still looking for a set of wheels to make the stance of my truck look good but local laws for changing the wheels and tyres are quite strict. i'll be using yours as a reference for a 0 offset wheel.
