It’s nice of Chael to let Anderson Silva and Jake Paul fight on his show.
This men knows his stuff
GOATED comment
🤣
I was thinking the same thing
That is indeed nice
You can tell how genuinely touched Chael is by all that's been unfolding over the past couple of days. The legacy of both these two men only continues to grow as a result.
This will be Conor and Khabib in 10 years.
😂😂😂😂🤩
@@dark32224 LMAOOOO
@@dark32224 yes my man, assalamualaikum
@@dark32224 Connor isn’t as cool as Chael
@@dark32224 no probebly not lol
Hats off to the camera guy for being able to fit Anderson and the interviewer in the same shot as Chael's massive arms. 👏👏
Helps that he was standing about 2.5 miles away. It was the only way
@@Wshilighlights at least, you are underestimating the size of those arms xD
Oh you know damn well Chael met with the cameraman pre interview to make sure the camera was big enough to capture THEE largest arms in West Lynn, Oregon that made their way to Los Angeles, California.
"Chael my brother". Brought a tear to my eye.
I’m still crying
Check your estrogen levels bro
Silva making fun of his own voice was funny as fuck
@Jon To im not clicking the link i dont wanna see the fucking taters agian
I was shocked when I got into UFC and first heard his voice after seeing his vicous KO’s 😂😂
🤣🤣
The Mike Tyson of MMA lol
Shit had me dying. At least he knew it
When Anderson said “Chael, my brother.” At the end, that’s all you need to know about Anderson. I think looking back he knows all that Chael said was not from a bad place, but a way for him to get those fights with the Spider.
Yeah see chael played the heel gimmick perfectly. Unlike Colby who hits wayyyy below the belt but acts appalled that people take it seriously and really brings out the worst in just childish fans who are trolls, chael was a great heel because it didn’t ever come from a place of like hate or disrespect, it was funny, and at the end of the day he could play that role, get big fights off of it, and be entertaining asf without ever once having to trash entire countries, dance on the grave of dead people, call people dead beat dads, or claim someone he wanted to fights wife was a hoe and that he needed a dna test to prove his daughter was his. Chael laid the groundwork for how to be the perfect heel
Yes the odd thing about it is that I think Anderson has always been this way and comes across as a very decent and likable human being, and yet even without being an angry or hateful person he is such a natural when it comes to being vicious and violent.
Fascinating guy.
@@ymb9shinzou743 He's a damn ninja bruh!
I agree with you 💯
Yes, that was genuine and I loved the ending of that interview was awesome!
Anderson helped me fall in love with the sport, Chael kept me in love with the sport.
This is very true I agree brother
Awesome statement.👍👍💯
Great point
you nailed it for many many ppl
hay thats good saying man
Anderson Silva is cold hearted in the cage and ring.but wow what a Legend, and what a great human being
He is very respectful in the cage even, he was one of the few fighters who didn’t land “unnecessary” shots after finishing his opponents he always waited for the ref to step in
He was never "cold hearted" in the Cage.
He was always respectfully and full of love for he's opponents. He always worried about them and bow down to them after every fight win lose or draw
Silva was always classy..had that mystique & aura about him.
Anderson is the reason that UFC caught my attention and held it years ago. Tuned in for every fight including every PPV with him. I miss the Era of the spider in his prime, my favorite Era of UFC.
Mine too
Same. I’m 28, and if wasn’t for Silva I wouldn’t have watched. Before then my brothers were big into it, but I thought it was just fat dudes swinging at each other. Then I saw Silva treat it like an art form. Since then I’ve been hooked.
The era right before that, when Silva fought in Pride, THAT was my favorite! Those we're WARS!
Facts bro.
Mine too! He will be always my favorite fighter
Anderson destroyed Jake with that “He would lose against my son”
Anderson's son: YEAH! HAHA... Wait...
@@santaflow133 Wait He already won that was quick R2
I’m such a huge Chael fan, but it’s hard not to love Anderson as well, he’s such a nice guy.
Liking chael should only make you like Anderson more
i always loved anderson . even in high school back in like 2007 i bought a anderson silva hoodie and it had a bee on it, i can't remember what the brand was but it was before the stupid reebok deal and the fighters could sell their own merch
@@dukenukem7043 dana white is a Communist dictator
He’s the goat
Same but what I missed early on about Silva because he was so dominant, is he actually cared about the sport, he started taking fights on no notice when guys would drop out or get PED shit, he would fight the tuffest guy even after he got old on no notice, Dana you need me to fill in? Respect.
Even after his loss against Chael he's still talks with so much respect its admirable
2 losses against Chael
Got beatdown by chael and submitted via triangle and ko'ed via knees to the body.
What loss?
@@juliomarioorozcojervis6256it's a bit. Just go with it
I'd pay good money just to see another press conference between Silva and Chael😂
Link to the clip of jake got hedshot 💀

Rampage vs chael press would be amazing
Yeah if you had any money 💰
Chael breaking out of the "I can't let you get close" gimmick at the end 🥺😥
Its so cool to see Chael look back on this and just show how much he actually respects and admires Silva! Both of these guys are absolute legends.
3:40 never thought i’d see Chael let someone get close
This gonna blow

@@garydol9363 😱😱😱
2 legends of the game for completely different reasons
The GOAT and Anderson Silva
Undefeated, undisputed, never lost a round
Anderson Silva = khabib
Chael sonnen = Conor
Both great in their own ways but yes very different
Chael was a legend because he was the best in the world, never lost a round. And Silva is a legend because he fought Chael!
@@thebubbclub I think Covington is a better comparison to Chael.
I' have tears of joy running down my face. Beautiful moment between these two amazing athletes and rivals.
U can tell chael respects silva so much. Not only is silva one of the baddest men on the planet he is also one of the kindest. U can tell its sincere. I wanna c his son fight now
Damn I love that hug at the end. I literally got a little emotional from it bc you can tell that having Anderson’s respect means so much to Chael. Much respect to the both of these legends 🙌🏼👊🏼
Chael is excellent at putting his thoughts into words
Yes! Classic interview!
Fantastic interviewer, asked great questions
Much respect and love for cheal and Anderson hope nothing but the best for these two ❤️🙏🥊
Chael elevated Silva's legacy and popularity for sure. People forget that before Chael, Silva was getting shit for his last few performances because he was being too safe or he wasn't trying to end fights anymore. Didn't help that Silva never talked to the fans so all we saw was a quiet champ who used to excite us now taking the easy and safe UDs.
Chael bought so much eyes to their fight and Silva overcoming that 5 round beatdown to win it at the end was some legendary story type shit. Silva had so much hype after that and then Silva stopped playing it safe and went back to entertaining fans and he went on a KO vitor right after. That set him on a different level. then he ko'd Yushin and rematched Chael and then ko'd Bonnar as well. Silva was like on an all time high in that period and it all started with his Chael fight.
Thats a little unfair. People were genuinely scared to engage with him. Hes the OG israel. He had embarrassingly KOed so many people that it lead to those UDs. He was always a killer
@@RT-qz5ci “OG Israel” bruh… Silva is bigger legend than Israel
@@kylehunt8346 thats what im saying. I agree with you, maybe didn’t phrase it well. Silva is the OG, israel just copied him
Jesus when u stack up Anderson's Ws like that he's a fucking animal wow.
Cant help but feel wholesome after the whole trash talk went down to them now respecting each other and Anderson truly embracing Chael at the end. Legends.
As a fan who's been watching since UFC 1, that was one of the best moments of all time watching those two bury the hatchet with an embrace. Also props to Anderson for the progression of his English, he's really came a long way. 👏
Haven’t been a fan for as long as yourself, but this was really cool to watch. I grew up watching the spider’s era in his prime, didn’t really keep up with the ufc for a while and kinda came back in around the Connor era. I have really fond memories growing up of these guys so it’s especially nice to see two legends of the sport share an awesome moment
This is what the world needs man. One of the biggest beefs in sports history, Now these 2 brothers can reflect together on the impact they made for the future generation. No matter who won or lost
I love how comfortable Spider is with touching and hugging people, even someone who's (i'm gonna guess) a stranger. It's really common here in Brazil and the best people at doing this are also the ones with most charisma, one thing feeds the other.
“Hold on brother I’m cryin”
Their rivalry was something very special & unprecedented at the time. A true golden era in the UFC.
That smile on the Spider's face when he hugs the Bad Guy, totally genuine, brought a little tear to my eye.
Just like pretty much everyone in Brazil, I love Anderson, he's getting very funny and have a great energy around him now. And I believe I'm one of the few brazilians who loves Chael too. I just can't be sad when Chael is talking something. 😂
I'd like to see D.C & Jones interact shake hands and talk like this one day
Man idk if DC could ever respect JJ enough for that. After that last positive test, it broke DCs heart !
Yeah nah haha
Silva is one of those beautiful people we were blessed with in our time
I was at UFC 117 When they fought for the first time. The energy going into the 5th round was unexplainable.
Yeah this is pretty heartwarming shit
Buddy cop movie!!???
You, my friend, are a fantastic interviewer and your brought out the best kind of energy out of Chael and Anderson.
Random thought. That's a great-looking shirt Anderson is wearing.
This actually brought a tear to my eye
One of the most wholesome moments in MMA I've seen in a while
Wow, that actually got me emotional. So cool to see such legends. Great interview!
Absolutely love both guys. Great to see them together after such a monumental rivalry. I hope they can join hands and do something...whatever!
This is so wholesome that I almost tear up.
Legends and Silva is just an awesome human being. Love that legend!!!
I don’t even know the real words to describe that video i just watch other than was just so awesome. Chael and Anderson praising each other and their fight/careers but genuinely doing it is so nice to see
Absolutely needed this interview!!! Wish it was 20 minutes longer!!!
Remember when Chael tapped to Anderson silva and said After the fight be thought if you tap you lose the round not the fight even tho he’d lost 7 previous bouts via submission 😂
This was so genuine. Two legends reminiscing on what impacted so many fans!
Anderson: "Chael, my brother"
Chael: "I can let you get close"
2 Legends of the Game
The best interview. Interviewer is actually just a real fan of mma with a mic and well spoken. Subscribed
Oscar is probably the most enjoyable guy in the mma media
It was the greatest fight and upset of all time.
This is an incredible heart warming ending to a most vicious rivalry. You know both humans are God Level when despite being at odds (in the past), they genuinely understand and respect each other to the core.
P.S: Anybody remember the Jet Li movie "Hero" where he refuses to kill the Qin emperor? 😅
I think tito and chuck best rivalry tbh watch from first and promos was amazin
I freaking LOVE this. Thank you so much for this lad
These guys are both the best. One of the rare rivalries where I was a huge fan of both guys.
That was beautiful! Thank you for that.
Im not crying, youre crying
we are hurting for real role models... thats why this country looks this way... we were blessed with a gift and we are squandering it like it was a gift... the sadness and regret we will feel for not stepping up will be overwhelming...
The interviewer putting his head on Anderson's chest made me wheeze. Then his face when getting out of the way of them, double wheeze.
I would be happy to just watch these two do a presser without Jake lol. So awesome to see these once fierce rivals as friends
It wasn’t really fierce. It was just Chael insulting in a comedic way and Anderson just confused.
The first fight was Chael beating up Anderson until the submission. And then the second fight Chael was winning until the back fist.
Absolutely love this channel! Great content and everything is always in real time❗️👊😁
This chael and Anderson friendship is incredibly wholesome
This was a great interview. Classic
2 legends love both of them this is really a great video love it!
:) Thank you for sharing MacLife.
Brilliant Interview!!
Man these guys helped and inspired me you can the real respect and it's beautiful
What an incredible interview. Great questions
This interview was wholesome.
This reminds me of the time Nick Diaz went backstage into the locker room to shake GSP's hand. It's always good to see when rivals come together at the end of their careers and make peace.
Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield.
I really never again saw a fight where someone gets bottomed for 24 minutes and then manages to win via submission by the end. This was the most crazy never say never fight I ever whitnessed
Fr so crazy that chael smashed him for 24 minutes and got in a tight spot yet STILL took the dub.
Undefeated undisputed
I remember feeling deflated going into that 5th round...then a movie like ending
Chael pushed silva to a level he didn't know he had
Go watch royce gracie vs kimo
Appreciate seeing this because I dont think it will ever happen with any modern rivalries. Like theres no chance we see this with Jon/DC or Khabib/Conor
I could see Khabib and Connor shaking hands like this in the future. Khabibs straight up said he's gone nothing against him now if I'm remembering the interview correctly, and Connors pretty much like the protégé of Chael with his personality, trash talking for business sake, not personal
This is honestly amazing, 2 of my faves, 1 of the grestest rivalries and now they are just causally hanging out doing a interview complimenting each other 🤣
It’s awesome to see these two look back on that time. Even better that they both understand that fighting each other built a lasting legacy for each of them in its own way.
This was beautiful. I wish could see more of these two, especially, at that BBQ together. The Bad Guy and The Spider breaking bread together. That would be something to behold.
That's a ppv I would buy!
I used to hate Chael at the time as a Brazilian but i can see now how much this rivarly added up to growing MMA, 2 legends
Chael doesn't actually hate brazilians in case you didn't realize hahahah
@@joemfahey at the time we didn't of course
@@flaviomottawav really? Damn! Colby does the same shtick about Brazilians but I felt like people were aware that is just a character he's playing as well
legendary piece of content.
I can't get enough of these two together! I want there to be a reality TV show with Chael and Anderson.
Shoutout to the most liked mma media guy around oscar, man always asks great questions and sets up quality mma videos like this and also pub talk, we all appreciate you bud!!!
Spider is cut from a different cloth , the humility of someone as great as he is at his craft is legendary within itself
Anderson Silva was who got me into watching the UFC. He was like nothing i had ever seen. I remember chael getting on my radar and was so excited for their fight. 2 of the goats
Love both guys man.lots of respect for each other after all those heated moments. This is real sportsmanship
This warms my heart
So nice of Chael to put himself in the same interview, and actually talk to the person he humiliated TWICE. Chael is such a great guy. Undefeated and Undisputed
Seeing you both talk after so long is amazing
3 legends Uncle Chael, Anderson Silva and Michael Jackson
love this boys as a older fan. top notch class fellas!
Not sure of the reporters name but you can see the pure joy he got from the warmth silva showed him. Little hug at the end. Wholesome stuff.
This was a great interview! really liked his rivalry and now I'm amazed at the respect they show each other... I would pay to hear the stories they will share during the barbecue Chael's being invited at Anderson's house
man that was wicked to see the amount of mutual respect
kudos good shit
Love the camaraderie between these 2 years down the road … 2 savages and 2 great dudes and love seeing Chael involved dude is the best
I love that these two are friends now!! Epic rivalry! Good to see they’re so respecting of each other afterwards!!
117 is my favourite fight of all time. So great seeing the respect and appreciation between these two legends!
That was a beautiful moment I love two grown men putting bs aside and recognizing each others talents
You cant fake greatness and we can be just greatfull that we had honor to witness it between those two guys.
This is great so many great memories for us fans too
This put the biggest smile on my face. Love to see it
What a wonderful guy chael is. Silva too.😊. Thank you both warriors class
This warms my heart ❤️ Awesome
