These soundtracks make me show new respect for electronic and ambient music. I used to hate the stuff before, but it all fits very well in this game.

With the current popularity of retro graphics and ultra-violence among indie devs, I wonder why we haven't got an Indie spiritual successor to this game.
With modern graphics, a third Manhunt is basically impossible, it would get banned and censored to hell, but with retro style graphics almost anything goes.
I definitely feel we have, much like the puppet combo games, they are heavily inspired by 80s slashers too.
My personal fav is power drill massacre
rdr2 is veeeery gory, (the same gory as manhunt) and nobody is saying anything, so i don't think a manhunt 3 would get banned, the world nowadays knows the difference between games and reality(i like to thing)

I don't think RDR2 is as gory as Manhunt, it's just that it's modern graphics are better at conveying the burtality of violence, but Manhunt's violence was much more sadistic, in fact, it was kind of the point.
Still, RDR2 is really gory. That being said, Manhunt has that reputation you know?

Rockstar likes controversy, theyve shown it time after time, if they do Manhunt 3, they want to make sure news outlets talk about it

ThePlamzJoker I have no idea. The click was something to do with the way I processed the videos in Windows Movie Maker - the mp3 versions I have don't have the click at the start of any of them.

I love the music in this level, with the "danger" parts sounding like Shadow Man. This is when the Innocentz get serious, but they are still no match for Cash. Don't know how he got into a factory, though.

I honestly think it's mainly this soundtrack that keeps the game from feeling stale for me. It had and still to me has generally solid and surprisingly modern feeling mechanics (at least with the mouse aiming on PC making this feel like a decent cover shooter at times)

This sounds exactly the same if not a rip off of the main theme of shadowman when the hunters spot you.
View of Innocence "spotted" kinda sounds similar aswell. Maybe they ran out of soundtracks during the Innocentz and "Drunk Driving" uses the Manhunt theme.

@@impetuousharp20 fair point, I suggest trying the Steam version to negate the bad gun mechanics .it plays so much better on PC almost like it was supposed to be played there originally.
