Manhunt Soundtrack - 15 - Kill The Rabbit

- Track 15 of the amazing soundtrack to Manhunt, Rockstar's infamous game. In my opinion, it's a masterpiece of darkwave/electronic/ambient music, reminiscent of classic John Carpenter soundtracks such as Assault on Precinct 13.
All tracks composed by Craig Conner.

“What can I say? You were a great leading man. The audience will love you. Don’t expect any royalty checks where you’re going.”
Its strange that starkweather thought 3-4 people can kill him
@@BEKON_GGactually he send some cerberus
@@corephoenix3249but that was after he had already killed the Smiley gang members
The moment Starkweather betrayed Cash for the last time.
@@LITTLE1994He already signed his death warrant when he ordered his distant family to be killed.
3:30 was probably the most memorable moment of the game - as the way out of the starting room gets locked and the celldoors in turn begin clicking one by one this track part begins playing and you get rushed at by half a dozen murderous madmen armed with nothing but knives against your shotgun
You can hear the creeping insanity of irreversibly broken minds which had no choice but revert to childish state in hopeless attempts to shield themselves from their unspeakable trauma in this song all too well
My god, what a philosopher
Who also got scared from the body in the morgue that jumps up when you come close to it?
On the first time yes
Yep.
Not me, but it is indeed surprising.

Played it tonight for the first time in years and it scared the hell out of me. Forgot all about it.
“You’re my big ugly Alice so go on, follow the white rabbit.”
Hey you aint dead. Oh fuck he aint dead
I love this level so much.
TheOjkk ANDIGOTTHEKEYSouttaher-
I loved that part even more, the little details of his voice trailing off...
For a Manhunt character the White Rabbit isn’t very scary.
I love it, too. It’s a bit of a pain, but it’s still a good level. I highly doubt that with how hyper-realistic the graphics are these days that Rockstar could get away with a Manhunt 3. Granted there’re a lot of games that came AFTER Manhunt 1 that make it look like a kids’ game! So...Maybe...
@@joshuafoote5144 He's not meant to be scary. He seems to be kinda pressured into doing this shit or is in it only for the money. He just wants to get it over with.

You did well. Very well! But every film has its ending, and this is yours!
Close your eyes, bad boy! Time for bye-byes!
He thought till his ass was chainsawed
D:
Hey you ain't dead!...HE AIN'T DEAD! OH SHIT I'VE GOT THE KEYS OUTTA HERE!
But Cash broke through and still survived.
"I am sorry Mr. Starkweather our guest seems to have locked himself in the washroom."
Man, this level was both tense and intense, all in one! I always thought of the whining of this track to represent Cash's nerves about to crack, right as the climax of the snuff film takes place. Which would fail first: his aim, or his sanity?
Beautifully written my man
3:30 shit hits the fan. rock-star know their music. every rock star game has fantastic music
james wilcox At 5:30 you can feel the horror of the chase, even a whisper
oh yeah. great music.
carterjeremy89 a whisper? I heard a fart in there
kevin morin Nah, definitely a whisper
carterjeremy89 nah definitely not a whisper, it was flatulence
I love all the creepy industrial sounds on this soundtrack. Really makes me feel like I’m actually in a rundown creepy Rust Belt industrial city.
"Big bones! I want big bones!"
This was definitely one of the creepier levels, what with all the executed bodies of Beta Cash and that damn jump scare with the body bag. The music definitely helps too. It makes me think of a twisted Merry-Go-Round or evil amusement park for some reason, especially at 3:30
Reminds me of that part where you're in the prison with a shotgun and these lunatics are all coming up the stairs with just their melee weapons waiting to get their heads blown to pieces
GoesWithTheNameOfGTJ That was my favorite part lmao
Well... There were two guys with shotguns still.
A new meaning for death row!!!
Yeah, fun painting the wall completely red
That's what makes this level fun.
4:31 My favorite part
3:30
No. 5:29 is the best part
Some John carpenter shit right there! 👌
This game is badass. The soundtrack is hypnotizing!
"Hey, you ain't dead. He ain't dead! Oh, shit! I got the keys outta here!"

5:29 And the madness begins ...
+Gamerz457 overwhelming comes to mind here. being surrounded by 5 hunters
Aint no hiding from the C.U boys
They didn't have to go this hard in the studio
You can almost hear the likes of Barry, Fug and friends taunting you over this.
Heartstopping...
The most frightening game of my childhood.
You were one hardcore little kid.
@Rn Tz YEH
@Rn Tz Thankfully weeb's opinions don't count.
@Rn Tz must not be very boring if you played it long enough to get platinum
@Rn Tz you know there is an easy way to get the 5 stars
5:29 Your ex spots you in public
WITCHETTY MAN!!
Yes?
haha all you guys are awsum remembering all these lines, made smile!!
Fun level. The "enemy searching" part of the song is the coolest. There are actually two beta Cash corpses near the end of the level. And, this one is the second and ultimate betrayal from Starkweather. That fool tried to make Cash die back in the place where he got his "lethal injection", in the most unlikely place and failed.
this game is a masterpiece..
Agreed
Disagreed, but it is very good
Yet, VERY controversial.
Definitely one of the best levels in this game. It feels nice to help the Smileys paint their thoughts on the ugly gray walls.
"Sorry I lost my Shoes mummy!" :(
HE TOOK MY SHOES!!
“Hey, you ain’t dead! Oh shit, he ain’t dead! I’ve got the keys outta this place!”
“Take cover you idiots!” That’s what one of the Cerberus’s say if you walk out of the tower where you kill the white rabbit instead of using the sniper
He also says "Take cover, take cover!" And "He's packing take cover!"
Let Cash teach Cerberus scum and others who's boss!
Try immediately running out of the tower. Then, you'll fight all the Cerberus at once.
@@latrade2159 What would happen if this is the place where Cash would have died?

@@latrade2159 That's just a What if Scenario,if we would be living in another universe, that's it. We are weird.
When big ugly Alice is coming to get ya.
So the ambush that was supposed to do Cash in for good was 4 Smileys armed with shotguns in a wide and spaceous room with plenty of props to take cover, where Cash is not only too far for the shotgun's range to be effective but also pretty close to the door in which he came in so he can also very easily just leave, and all that after he had managed to live through much worse shootouts against the Innocentz and the Smileys themselves? What the fuck, Starkweather?
He probably knew cash would survive so that’s when he called remeriez, after cash survived that he called his guards on him. He was supposed to die on border patrol but piggy distracted them. So stark weathers final resort was to be a fat ass and sit in his chair and let piggy or his final guards kill him
all is fault of Ramirez because he left him escape when he punched him
And out of all the other gangs that are clearly more organized and effective (Wardogs, Cerberus even the Skinz) he choose the smileys that are just crazy and mentally ill people
The ambush was to either kill both or the other
Cerberus was to come in next and finish the job which didn't happen
He was a middle age, overweight, coke head, degenerate murderer that was c00ming half of the time. Of course he'll make bad decisions
Why my shoes? Plenty of other shoes. Why mine?
🤣🤣
I always loved the way this track started off. Then repeats back to the start when everything goes quiet, had me on the edge of my seat
"You're supposed to be dead! Oh fuck! He's after my fucking key!"
This is when Starkweather betrays Cash so unforgiving!!
He already bretays him when he let the innocentz kill all his family
The level where the movie ended...
The level where any semblance of humanity Cash had left died...
The level where a true monster, an apex predator was born...
Quite the sinister feel from this music it has...
I love the slamming sounds you can hear from 4:30. They sound close to gunfire, adding a lot to the atmosphere to this level.
Cash, you're fired!!!
I recognize those....THEY'RE MY SHOEEEES
I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE. . . you left a trail of head juice.
This is the end of the movie.
What you're about to see now is some behind the scenes content.
It was supposed to be His ending. He was wrong.

FUG, GONNA, FINISH, THIS!!
That jumpscare,that damn jumpscare ._.
My shoes! Where are my God Damn shoes!!!
During the last segment of the song, I swear I can hear a sample of Elmer Fudd in the background.
James Sounds like "what.."
Felt so good killing those Cerberus bastards at the end after all the times they caught you.
Definitely! I just finished the game for the first time last night!! It was tough especially that Border Patrol mission.
***** It was, mainly in the part just after the hedge maze.
TheIrland09 Right! Lol I died so many times. I didn't even know about the save point hidden in the maze at all until several hours. Wayy too many Cerberus soldiers.
Luckily I had been curious enough to see what was in the center of the maze. I would've been major pissed if I missed it and had to go all the way back to the last one lol
TheIrland09 Lol!! You have no idea how frustrated I was during my playthrough. I kept restarting over and over in my videos last month. But... I DID IT!! Hahaha
i recognize these shoe prints! they were made by my shoes!

The best and the most memorable in this game
One of my favourite levels
5:30 sounds like a chase scene in a john carpenter movie
I'd like to know an example lol just in case I may have heard it. This track truly describes the fear of the hunt from all those psychos, it's beautiful, in the most horrific way 😄😄
+tzero440 apparently the music is based of john carpenter
james wilcox Even better!!
The chase part of this song shouldn’t have to slap as hard as it does
those shots in the background 4:33
this is truly a masterpiece

Love shootouts with the smileys ☺ it's it's it's just...so invigorating
3:30-5:30 when your in a shootout at night and taking down bad guys in an abandoned area and possibly hiding like James Cash and taking them down from behind or shooting them in the shadows like a boss
anyone else here ever notice, along the scrollbar for the video the ✧✧・゚Most replayed segment among most, if not all, of these Manhunt soundtrack uploads is that the "Caught/Alerted Enemies/I'm in Combat'' always seem to be in that category. ()
Holy shit, amazing.
White Rabbit:You did well. Very well! But every film has its ending, and this is yours!
Cash:Fuck You!
Craig Conner did a great job on Manhunt ost. Turning the theme of the maniac of the 80s movie into a quick version makes situation very effective, where you aren't being hunted by some autistic killer, and you are a weak defenseless person. Whole crowd of killers, which consists of psychopaths who are ready to go at you, even if you have a firearm, and they are not with what. More importantly, there is a bug in the scene in which, in the cutscene with the rabbit, he is surprised that Cash remain alive and his panicked speech is interrupted at the end. This bug has made this cutscene pretty creepy, that everything is getting out of control, and the music makes you realize that Cash is the maniac from the horror movie.
At this moment, dis is when ya know Starkweather's gonna wish you a happy death to make ya realize that you're fcked. XD
I dance to 5:29. Its so good the dread area
This game is real. Rockstar games know something. Watch the trailer with the masonic rebirth.
