I’ve since seen where the rear cover has a flap that extends down past the tailgate and either uses button snaps or Velcro to adhere making a weather seal. I’ll probably try and use a roll of magnetic tape inserted into the cover to stick to the tailgate… looking forward to watching the next video!

Its been awhile since i’ve looked at it but i think it has a plastic piece that wedges under a stationary rail on the body. I’ll have to pull those parts out and look at the tailgate piece.

Great video! The new best top covers use a tongue and groove channel locking system, what are you planning on using on the tailgate to get a weather seal?

Hey Nathan, sorry to take so long to respond. CZcams doesn't make it easy to see responses to responses. My plan hopefully is to retrofit that rear tongue and groove bracket to the tailgate. Thanks for Watching!
