I went to Hebden Bridge located in the Calder Valley of West Yorkshire, England. Hebden Bridge is an old textile mill town on the Rochdale Canal. First impressions fill you with a romantic notion that this town is perfect. I roamed around this amazing place meeting a lot of people who were friendly which is always nice. They are plenty of pubs, cafes, eatery places to eat as well the market which has some street food. I later had some fish and chips from crown fisheries. Not the most amazing fish & chips but wasn't the most expensive I paid for them either.

Folks in the know can avoid Keighley, brown dog. Go either valley side , far more intersting drive.

Didn't show the beautiful Centre Vale Park, The Little Theatre (Which you walked past), The listed Picture House (walked past) or the lovely Marina. Just to name a few.
Hebden Bridge also hosts many speciality week-end events.
It was my first ever time to Hebden Bridge. The things you mentioned gives me a good enough reason to come back. I reviewed the fish and chips if you saw that. Thank you for the list & I will look more into detail on my next visit next year.

@@mikestravelshow the amount of people at any given time, I visit once a year to reminisce and hate the crowds of people, I guess the tv show happy valley made it popular
What day was this? Saturday? I think the food market is still on a few days a week & another is just second hand stuff. I used to go to Hebden Bridge a few times a week, I like the location and not too far from me + have some old friends there. That chippy can be great or just so so over the years.
This was a Saturday when I went there. It's a great location as you say. The chippy needs to improve.
Crown chippy as gone crap and a rip off.
The fresh food market is on Thursday. Friday is second hand junk. Saturday is craft and Sunday is mainly street food. The chippy is awful.
