The manufacturer recommends that you clean the water fountain and replace water once a week in summer and every two weeks in other seasons. Wish the interior reservoir was also stainless steel. If the water touched any plastic > instant cat chin acne and health issues. They almost got this right. Hope they make a 2.0 version where the inside is stainless steel and not just a stainless steel top bowl.

i have 3 cats, can it recognise which one have used it and how much the specific cat drinks in the day/week/mounth? thank you
It can't recognize the difference between multiple cats. I know there are feeders that will do this, but I'm not aware of any fountains.

Hi! Thanks for the review. If I have multiple cats, can the sensor determine which cat drank water or does it just show “a cat” drank water?
It doesn't show which cat. It only shows how often and for how long a cat visits.

@@MellowMeMeditation water always will be touching plastic. You can't eliminate plastic. Pump , is plastic.
Do I need to connect to power all the time or it can be recharged?
It has an internal battery that can last anywhere between 30-180 days, depending on how often you set the water to cycle.
