I really liked the story of the Quadiran twins. Prejudiced against since birth, the girls tried to adapt in their own ways, not even realizing they were destroying the other. And when the catastrophe inevitably came, they sought help and received it from the most unexpected one - Nethys. In one of his lucid moments, the All-Seeing Eye turned his attention to the desperate Kalikke and saw himself in the twins, two sides fighting for control and sent his own herald to help them out and teach them his own lesson of finding balance. In the end, the girls learned his lesson and found love in a distant land.
Agreed! It was one of the high points of kingmaker for me and I really like this game. I enjoy the duality of the twins and their tale of love and hate. Such an unique and awesome character concept. As a DM I couldn't help but include Kalikke's and Kanerah's story into my homebrew campaign as allies NPCs of the party. My players loved them and it was intriguing for them to discover their secret (in my game they did a better job of hiding their curse and that they were two people in one body) Plus it made for some awesome quests in the middle of the campaign like looking for the Disk of the Eclipse or protecting Kanerah from the soul eater in the later stages of the campaign. This just made me love them even more. I just wish I was better with accents so I could imitate her voice actress but that's just impossible for me.
I don’t think I was never given the chance to complete this npcs story line. I completed the first 2 quests but when I got to the point where quest 3 began the quest never showed itself. I didn’t even know that this quest was a thing. I finished the game and realized that I never got an end scene with these npcs. I was romancing kalikke so that was upsetting. I noticed also that when I leveled up these npcs earlier in the house, the kineticist class was not on my list of classes. So I was forced to level them up into another class. I don’t know if I just missed something, if I was being stupid or if the game bugged. But I’m upset that I never got to finish their story. ☹️ Nothing can be done now I suppose. Anyway it’s time to play wrath of the righteous
I heard that there was no good end romance for twin, holy... Considering that I had failed Kanera romance, I feel like I'm loser right now :). I need a guide tho, mb I will replay Kingmaker
So the guide says during the resting dialog with Kalikke to choose the romantic non alignment option, but none of the options seem romantic. Does that mean just pick the neutral option? Her response is more positive to the neutral good choice. Playing as Chaotic Good.
Here because I'm extremely angry with my Neutral good game. I NEVER intended to romance Nyrissa, but it seems the game decided that taking pity on her is the path to it. Kanerah told me "good luck with her !" T_T
You can literally tell her that you don't have interest in her romance like you can with any other npc whom you are starting a romance with, what you on about?
Yea it was a good one, the only good one to me valerie was too meme for me and so was Octavia. Guess I have to wait for a dlc to add a good one to wrath of the righteous because the choice between wenduag camilla and arundashae very lackluster. Crazy girl, crazy girl, ex crazy girl, it's like ok we get it fam. It's the same issue from bg2.
To explain the above comment to people referring to this video a year later - The single most important event happens at the Soul Eater fight. Picking either of the Good or Evil choices there locks you into romance with only that sister, and locks you out of the "Best" ending for the twins. You must pick Neutral to get their good ending and romance them both. If you try to break it off with either sister after that event _both_ will leave you. Romancing them isn't required for their good ending, though.
the only virgins you can get in this game i assume in wrath of the rightneous only virgin you can get is queen gallfrey if she even is a virgin i dunno (yes i am 1 of those freaks)
