i have some questions, are thiese guns regulated in fps over in usa or you talking about something els? , alsow im from eu im seaching for the most powerfull .177 PcP gun i can get - as above .177 is no legal where i live,
1 whats the most powerfull PcP rifel made??
2 that chamber u showed would that increese the fps/Fpe?? if so by how much, seems the heaviest pellet a .177 can muster is around 16 Gr/ 18 Gr for the JGB diablo beast and 8 Gr whit the Gamo leathal seems the best for penetrating stuff, but im new its just for my reseach on internet.
3 can u recomend me a PcP rifel i have looked at the GAMO GX-40 MB and the HATSAN HERCULES rated from factory at 1650+ for the gamo whit the Red flight pellets and 1450 for the HATSAN i know they shoot whit rigged setup to get most numbers but it seems the hatsan soots close to numbers whit 8gr pellets.
So i wanna modifi if i can get more power, so have that in mind.
4 Semi auto could be favorit over lets say 100 more fps

One of the most informative articles i have ever seen regarding improving your airgun. I bought some of your slugs in 2019 and then had to move overseas and got out of airguns but back niw and waiting on the new avenge-x as soon as i get it i want to try my luck with a wood stock. I am a woodworker and have some highly figured walnut 2.5" thick that i am excited to try. Keep up the great videos

I have made some recurve bows, I buy hardwood boards and then laminate them together using EA40 epoxy (press at 50 lbs per square inch), you can make it any thickness you want. EA40 has a bonding strength of 1700 lbs per square inch (the wood will split before it separates).. This is much stronger than one piece of wood.. It might also be cheaper than buying a single block of wood.. Also, allows you to orientate your grain for strength and beauty..

@@AirVelocitySport Pretty good but I rather laminate my own - I think it is cheaper to by boards and laminate them myself - it isn't hard to do.. Have you ever tried "French Polishing" for the finish.. Done with shellac, alcohol and olive oil.. This is not hard to do and is awesome..

do you happen to have a extra barrel band for the air venturi avenger that you would be willing to sell? i am building a new stock for mine and it calls for a second barrel band in order to mount a longer picitiny rail on it. thank you for your time and video.
Do you think there will be an aftermarket company that makes stocks for the avenger? Boyds makes them for the Marauder. Is it possible to fit a nova liberty stock to the avenger? Thanks so much your videos are great.
Follow up on my comment - I emailed Boyd’s and got a nice response the same day. The respectfully said that they currently have no plans for this rifle.

@Air Velocity Sport I've checked that one out as well. I have my plastic pieces apart for a paint job, I sanded the plastic coating off and taped it up, popped the lid off the base coat spray can and there's only a stem, Yee Haaa. 😳😆

It's easy to disassemble the plastic Avenger, but do you know how the wood stocked version is taken apart?

Do you think longevity is compromised when someone's purchases a 400-600 dollar pcp? I know the accuracy, and the features arent as refined, etc. But do you think a benjamin marauder or any similarly priced gun will last for decades of use? Or would you say buy a real gun?

Adrian at $500 or less I still love the Nova Liberty (wood Stock) or the Avenger. The Krals and Hatsans are in the $700 range an are not that much better. Just my 2 cents

@@AirVelocitySport I never even heard of that brand. What do you look for when you choose to get a new PCP? Have you looked into FX, Styer, Daystate or that LCS Air Arms SK-19 semi/full auto that seems really accurate at long ranges for upper level guns? The Artemis PP 750 looks really good for what you get and is tunable. Anyway, looking forward to your next video.

I will probably never make a stock but great job on the video. It's fun to watch your journey. You may want to wear a dust mask when sanding (as you do later). Most of the dust masks suck when you wear (safety) glasses, but I am happy with the 3m 7503. The filters (at least pre-covid19) were readily available at the box stores and you can get both dust (2291) and organic vapor (6001). It sounded like you might want to look into a better jigsaw. Also a multi-tool would come handy for you. I have those in Bosch 18v which are great. Also, you might want to pick up a divider (aka compass) to make those parallel layouts.
James Thorogoods site is worth checking out he sells magazines that fit under a scope for the 2240. I have one on mine. 9 shots with one up the spout. The magazine comes out from under the scope at a 45 degree angle. It's printed from carbon reinforced nylon.
I will pay top price for one of those sir! Cash in hand.
