Table looks like a lampstand. Totally natural looking. Would never have guessed the fish bowl came from there.

Me first seeing the table: 'Hm, that's like the exact height of the bowl I saw in the thumbnail. Coincidence? I think not!'
Largely because you were expecting to see a bowl. If this was performed on the streets without you knowing what to expect, it wouldn't have crossed your mind.

Ha ha, reminds me of this short story I read once where this one heckler kept annoying a magician by always saying, "He just had it up his sleeve!" whenever the magician conjured something. He was described as insisting this, including when the magician made a goldfish bowl appear to materialize. Kind of a funny way to try to put him down, seeing as stuffing an entire bowl of water into one's suit and making it undetectable could probably be a magic trick in and of itself.
This is the first channel on CZcams of which I have seen every single video... Awesome show :)

thats way more complex than it needs to be, and changes the height of the table which is obvious...if i did this i would simply have the fishbowl sit on a ledge behind the drape or curtain "inside" the table, and when the table is covered i'd slide the fishbowl out the back and set it on top so the table height stayed the same
That's a great idea! There are a number of ways that illusions can be performed. Do you also work in magic?

why is revealing the secrets, not breaking the magicians code, of never revealing the secret of a magic trick. Millions of people watch these videos. so millions of people now can't be shown the tricks.
i disagree that it is obvious the table changed height,. the camera moves in, which makes it hard to see what is happening. a live audience would notice.
This is a powerful trick. There are secret compartments, triggers, and fake props.

now you can notice the height of the table drop from his lowest button to another 6 or 7 inches below it...it's slight of hand because you don't know what to notice cool trick to invent and create illusions...

I feel like this show consults a magician with how they would do a trick, and isn't exactly how specific tricks are always done. This trick would be better if you just had a hollowed out table since it wouldn't appear to drop a foot upon the reveal
It even dropped down in sight under the cloth during the first showing of the trick.
I have a feeling that the tricks were done sloppily, possibly on purpose.
