Hey marv I am 19 years old, I am a beginner barber and I’m visually impaired where my central vision is blocked with a light sensitivity and a little blur but don’t worry I don’t let it stop me. I always find other ways to cut and I’m going to go to barber school and luckily a company that works with my school is able to pay for my barber school and I learned a lot from watching tutorial videos and I actually cut five people in total and I learned a lot and I’m always learning every single day

I went to barber college back in 2010. I had never cut hair but I was interested in the craft. I would spend hours watching video on CZcams watching before and after haircut transformations and I loved it. I signed up for barber college and I thought the instructor would be teaching us how to cut hair. They do not teach you anything aside from the information you need to pass the bar exam. They did not reach me how to cut hair. thankfully there was a lot of experienced barbers there that were kind enough to help and teach me how to cut hair. It was a small school with too many students. Like 3 to a station. I felt like I was in jail my first week, about 40 guys in the building, everyone smoking weed. I almost dropped out thinking it was a waste of money. I’m glad I stuck it out. I don’t cut hair anymore as I went into another career. But I still cut my hair and family sometimes. At the end of the day it was a great experience
