Great video! I’ve been on the fence between s22 and master. I’ve been leaning toward the master more lately but the lack of battery redundancy is a concern of mine. Thanks for all the info, it makes me feel a bit more confident if I do decide to stick with the s22.

Appreciate your experienced balanced review , I really like this wheel alot, it seems best suited for bumpy town roads with some not too extreme off road thrown in... when both begode and kingsong iron out their niggles we'll all be blessed with some top quality wheels to choose from.. 🙏🏽
(Tho it's totally possible begode could have a complete new wheel out by then....... 🤔 )

Good review Bro. Appreciate your honest indepth opinion of this wheel. I preordered the S22 and I'm definitely sticking with it. I feel like Begode hurried up and rushed out this wheel without any pre-planning. It was just a wheel meant to steal the S22 's thunder. I trust Kingsong's safety features and build quality a lot more than this wheel. I definitely belive that the S22 will be the best selling wheel of the two. Thanks again. Keep it up.

Great content zen, so nice to see you supporting other content providers, and I appreciate your opinion on the comparison between the S20 and Master. Be good if one of those people skilled in setting up suspension systems would share their knowledge so we all get the best ride possible and can compare air suspension against coil spring suspension accurately, apparently we’re missing some data.

Gonna need a new comparison with the added torque and beginning take off for the S-22 firmware but these both wheels are so sick I would take either but definitely the S22 is still my pick and will probably forever be my pick till the wheel dies 🤙

Riding in Portland atm. Considering moving to Las Vegas. Started riding about 2 months ago.
Bought and sold a Gotway/Begode Mten3 and also bought Litech Gotway/Begode EX N HT.
Cracked the case of the Ex n on the first ride 🙄 Repaired it and duct taped packing pads for added protection and control.
2 days later, I cracked the case complexly on the part facing the front part of the EUC while jumping a curb.
Repaired that and now I really need to buy a new case for this poor EXN.
I'm hoping this Hero can take some abuse as well. Ik the back tail light won't stand up to a light fall.
Great video btw. I love watching other riders crash when the rider breaks down what they did wrong and why.

Great content as usual. Debating between this and S22 (or V13?). As other commenters have pointed out, I will be interested to see what the ride is like with a better shock. Also curious what the real world on-trail range is.
really you'd be happy with either one, its just fine tuning the decision. I'd skip the V13 for a year or two though!
You look like the world's fastest pogo stick riding that trail. Looks fun, but I will be swapping the shock on mine.

Brilliant video - as great a demonstration of the coolness of Skydio as it is the Master, and your riding of it - brilliant tips as well ! :) Quick question - we're seeing quite a lot of broken handles, some not as a result of pop-outs, but when lifting the wheel by it. Have you found any other decent grab points on the Master so we can avoid actually lifting it with the handle ?
yes lol, begode sent me two replacement trolley handles, haven't even bother installing yet, hopefully it doesn't break down on my deep in the desert, the only reason I would need one. I'll put it in during my next tire change probably.
Interesting about the suspension, I would say so far in all the reviews for the master and s20, its split 50/50 between which one is better. Maybe personal preference or knowledge on setting it up correctly or even knowing what suspension is supposed to feel like.

Great to hear the initial impressions are mostly positive! What are you running for PSI in the tire and in the suspension? I bet there is some slight fine tuning that could be achieved still. I have seen a couple of guys get their suspensions on point on the Master and claim they like it much more than the S20/S22 setup.
The S22 is a more robust coil system and is a lot deeper, I'd have to try out the S22 more on these trails to know for sure.
@@ZenLee Hopefully the firmware and sliders are better in the S22. Wish I could test ride the Master with two different tires. Still feel like Master is the wheel for me.
Interesting that you say it feels like the V11. That was my first wheel and I prefer it’s suspension to the S18. S20 is still the best suspension I’ve personally ridden though.

Watching this makes me happy that I preordered the 40T configuration (my 42a order was cancelled so I had to downgrade). Having the high amperage cells seems to be key if you want to push this wheel... IMHO of course.
All EUC should go Molicel 42A as the highest current flow of any lithium battery. You want close to 3600Wh of it to delay battery sag and more range!
What safety gear do you have on?

Also, Alien Rides did a range test and the Master was beeping like mad bellow 40 and also did some crazy tilt back.

Weird hard mode has any pedal dips since that’s what the purpose of hard mode is suppose to be. My EX and RST has zero pedal movement in hard mode, hopefully they change this in a firmware update cuz that’s what I’m used to off road. Good review and feedback.
Looking at the first minute of fast riding on uneven terrain, we can all agree that the era of big fast wheels without suspension has officially ended.

it's not that fragile, just a few of the extremities which I could pad up to protect.

Yep I'm readying but want to do it with people this time. ITs more of an adventure scenic ride, not a fun flow track like this.
Yeah, the dampening has to be increased to cut down on the pogo stick. Before I adjusted my dampening correctly on my S18 I would get tired on my rides. Once you dial it in correctly it will feel more like a road wheel on the trails, more responsive and less to no work to control the bouncing action.
Living where you live I am pretty so you have a ton of experts on suspension all around you.

That is what another video says about Begode Master...its body is very fragile and vulnerable to falls!
Gotta be careful when below 40% charge??? Great, I thought range anxiety was an One Wheel thing, not on an advanced EUC model.
One Wheel is the same technology as an EUC, its just the design of OW, which has less battery on its skateboard and even more prone to crashes. Its a design with many limitation. You can get Veteran Sherman Max 3600 Wh and do 100 miles, more than any known PEV out there!
So still better than s20?

I'm coming g off the s18 and I've road the beeps on this thing and beat the hell out of it for 3 yrs now, I wanted to stay with ks bc of the reliability of my s18 but all the issues with plastic parts and fire made me change my mind . So how fast did u get this master ? Ppl said 70mph on free spin and 60mph loaded depending on weight and im hearing 45-48mph with beeps , makes me wonder if I should have just bought an old ex or rs. And how heavy does the master feel compared to the Sherman's

@@ZenLee yea I hope so , I'd like to see u review one with the upgraded batteries , I ride hard mode since I started , and I live on a mountain so hopefully the suspension holds up enough, I have a deposit down on the master with alien rides and im stoked to see what happens from test units to production units. I also have big feet so I was worried about the pads not fitting well with me on the s22, I know my ankles don't line up with the ankle spots on the s18, so it would suck being locked into what would feel like a cuff
Which is why I don't want a begode, cutout...and you already have four broken parts...
Easy and cheap to fix. Mine is also v1 without the updates and without fairings.

Your claim about smaller batteries being safer is completely unfounded. This wheel can/will burn the same as any other wheel in the past several years. It is setup no different and uses the same exact batteries.
Also please no one get the Samsung 50E battery it is under spec for this wheel and could cause safety concerns. It is what a lot of these first batch shipped with, get the Samsung 40T or Molicel P42A instead.

pedal dip, qc and safety issues with battery already on a new wheel. Seriously ?Buying these new wheels means that people accept mediocre and will not force change .Best wait for the next iteration where the bugs are ironed out and let the alpha testers sort some of this crap out!
