I teach private lessons! The usual rate is $30/hr. Contact me at telegraphgo@gmail.com for more info. If you stop after your first lesson, no charge, guaranteed.
The goban is from the game Just Go on steam, which has a nice 3d animation from Unity. I use a couple of effects from GLAT ( • GLAT - Go Live Annotat... ). The overlay is just a bunch of stuff I cobbled together myself, a Telegraph original! 😀

I speak for everyone (no, really) when I say us little viewers will never begrudge you for taking the time you need! Don't forget us when you make pro!!
Do you know current world ranking of Ke Jie ?
As an almost dan player, this is the best english analysis of high level games I have seen so far.
Great review! Good luck with your games, and no worries about video schedules :) By the way, I would love to chat with you about pronouncing Chinese names! The correct pronunciation is a lot easier than folks would have you believe -- and I'm saying that as an American.
Alex played well! He hung in there for a long time and didn’t get completely outclassed
Thanks a lot for covering this game, it was super nice to see this game, your commentary is very very nicely done. Congrats to Alex for putting such a fight, even against one of the strongest of the whole tournament.
Best of luck for the pro qualis, we'll be cheering for you !
best of luck with the pro quals, and it will be cool to have a channel run by a pro soon :)
fear not about the upload schedule
Thanks for showing us another nice game with great commentary. An best of luck for the qualification!
Thank you for a great commentary! Good luck with the qualifiers!
Good luck with the tournament
Thanks for the video, and Good luck! ^_^
Nice game! Thanks for the interesting commentary!
I am watching you compete live right now. Make good moves!
Good videos have a long life, I came 6 months late but enjoyed it, thank you for the reviewing the game. One still wonders if the big pros like Ke Jie plays at his best in this type of events, I wonder what his accuracy was compared to his big games and how much pressure Alex really put on him.
Very interesting!
Wow go Alex!! Ke Jie's brilliance and nearly decade of high level AI study won out in the end but for a North American 1P to play that caliber of game against one of the best in the world is something we over here can be proud of! Excited for the future.
Alex looks super impressive!
Awesome video, and good luck in pro quals!!!!!! Do you know yet when you will be playing?
great game selection :)
Ryan Li from Canada once made it to the 3rd round of the Mlilly Cup.. So not all NA pros are a joke.. but most of the time they do get smoked by bad matchups with top players like Shin Jinseo or Ke Jie. I feel bad for them. Andy Lui, the top rated NA professional of all time in ELO, he got matched up with 2016 Lee Sedol right after Sedol lost to Alphago. Lee smoked him off the board of course, but Andy did at least take him into endgame.
Great review as always! Good luck at pro quals; we will all be rooting for you!
Has anyone ever told you that you look like Keven DeBruyne (Belgian footballer)?
Thanks! Haven't heard that one before, I wish I was as fit as a pro footballer :D
He does!
Western players have made it past the first round a couple of times, never the second round. This time, even all the Japanese were wiped out in the second round.
The participating Chinese pros have to go through harrowing qualifiers to even play in this tournament, so they tend to be in top form, not easily beaten.

What's the software you are using?
In the description!
Thank you
I am curious, I've never heard your accent before. Is it a combination?
Strictly upstate New York!
@@telegraphgo There is some tainting I'd say, judging from the extra lingering on the 'L's you pronounce... I've never heard this before, and I pay attention to such things, it's interesting for me.
Respect to Chinese pros that are so committed to their craft, that they cannot spare 15 minutes of research to discover masks are worthless.
If you knew who Kejie is, he chose to wear a mask probably just because he likes to wear it. No one except him wear masks in the game.
