Around 1980-81, I was working as a bartender in a pub called "The Lord High Admiral" In London. It was located just off the Edgware Road on Church Street. We had a public bar and a lounge bar. The police would drink in the public bar and a local gang called the Quality Street Gang, used to drink in the lounge bar. Just wondering, if the QSG of London, who lived near the Edgware Road (Church Street) were related to the QSG in Manchester?
They were actually a nice bunch of fellows and never caused a problem. They always treated me with respect and were great to chat with. The pub's landlord was a fellow called Joyce from Ireland.
Great documentary bernard 👏
My one regret was never getting to see Wayne before he left us as we all grew up together in the 70s and early 80s ,he lived at 4 Rock street Higher Broughton with his mother Mary ,Dad Eric and sisters Lorraine and Tracy .We lived further up the street and we were all in the same group most nights hanging out on the street ,Wayne was a couple of years older than me and many nights i would end up sat there counting out how many times he jumped with his skipping rope ,fastest skipping ever ! super fit he was even as a young teenager .And the Partington part he mentions was all correct as i was there the night he left ,eventually over the years i lost touch with him and the family and it was only through facebook this last few years we reconnected but sadly it was too late as he had already passed with Cancer ,would of loved to of seen him again .Very sad so RIP my old mate .
My heart goes out to Kelly his daughter seeing all these things about her dad

This program is ruined by bern the grass
💯
🤣🤣🤣
Who he grassed on
They're all grasses the sooner you realise that the better
Really it's all a fantasy, the cardboard gangsters. What do most if not all got to show for all the wasted year's. They might have a few good stories to tell on podcast but that's the extent of it. Yesterday's news, good for reminiscing, makes them feel that they've achieved something in their life. The one's that were smart we're the ones who were paying them. I'm not having a knock just stating a fact or two. 🥊☘️🥊
My bedroom window overlooked that Partington gypsy camp.

GREAT ADD BUT WE WANT TO KNOW THE SECEART IS NOT LISTEN TO A LOT OF SHXT FOR 20 MINUTES
Jabba the Hut talks about the good old days as he is splayed on a chair weighing 450 lbs, using a cane, and not managing his diabetes.
You mean Jabba the slut? He was loose 😂
Ha ha
Why do you think that's funny?
I think it’s true in life we reap what we sow not always sometimes horrible things happen to really good honest people that is the unfairness of life sometimes.Being shot down assassination is tragic it shouldn’t happen unfortunately in the underworld it does happen someone looses a dad grandad husband not a world I would ever want to be part of.
Pretty sure some of the QSG used to drink in the Circus Tavern om Portland Street.
Too many adverts. You should be ashamed cashing in on legends. Hope they catch up with you.
Wow he mentions fighting the N w 0 and b @ n k5 t£r 5 etc back then what a guy
Rip Paul true Salford man blessings to you and your family 🙏
I spent a little time with Ken and Sean back in the early 90s.

BOM the one the jealous love to hate he's not my cup of coffee but fair play to him. It's funny the way low profile villains dislikes him, yet big fish let him swim.

Paul Massey was running for mayor of Salford !
Being mayor gets you some benefits 😢
