That was a huge huge mistake, & if I was the homeowner I would be Pissed! Who is overseeing these projects?
I love all your renovations, styles and designs there always so beautiful & great but this was a huge OH NOâŠ.
My husband and I updated our home to luxury vinyl plank from carpet. I looked at thousands of photos of interiors before making a decision. My first choice was a light gray because my colors are light gray walls and all white furniture. But after viewing literally thousand of photos, it hit me: light natural wood color floors are timeless. They are in historical homes and are still not outdated. They go with absolutely any decor style from Victorian to ultra modern. Thinking that the light gray might become outdated in a few years, we went with light natural wood color, similar to what they did here. Not only will it never go out of style, it also made our home so much brighter by just lightening up the space. I do not see the floors in this video to be a mistake. I believe they make the home brighter than dark floors would have. I think itâs better than dark floors would have been. Itâs beautiful.
I love Nate & Jeremiahâ€ïž, that being said. Everyone is in titled to their own opinion, but the homeowners paid a lot of money for this
Reno & it wasnât done for free. I would have made them remove those floors, I paid $$$ for the design
Of my home with a dark floor! Unless they took off a Huge sum of money$$$ (which they probably did)

RIP headphone users at 6:39. I bet the neighbors thought somebody was being murdered. Overall I really like this design⊠except the fireplace. Looks tacked-on (which it was), and doesnât go with the rest of the room.
I listen to it on mute, because I cannot handle all the screaming.
I like the fireplace. It looks like it could have been part of the bungalow if it was built in the 30âs or 40âs. Like if the house were renovated a few times, but the fireplace remained. It looks great. I love it so much more than the nothing that was there before.

But itâs also important they appreciate the people who made there home feel like home because to without them this house wouldnât look good. So no they are not the only one that matters

If I got a professional to redo my house and they got the material wrong they would 100% fix at their own cost. Cause it was their mistake and not what I paid for

When you have kids, those dark floors are pretty, but not worth it. đ I almost drove myself insane trying to keep dark wood clean!
They are pretty but very trendy , meaning you will get sick of them and they will look dated before they get to live out their full life.

Idk I have light hardwoods and a 2 year old who thinks she's an artist. She draws full sleeves of "tattoos" on herself any chance she gets, she scribbles on her brother, my legs and lower stomach, other people, objects, walls, appliances, and floors. She's not interested in paper. Who needs it? Our pretty, light hardwood floors are a nightmare to keep looking good. One thing I didn't expect was how "dusty" they look if you don't wash them properly and regularly. Idk if dusty is the right word but they look dull and just..off.

I was pleased to see window treatments. But was sad to see the stained glass gone.
If it were me and I got the wrong floors, I would assume they are free. This might soften my disappointment if I chose to keep it instead of having it replaced. I am not fond of the counters with the overall finished look. I recognize that the marble is beautiful, but I would have chosen something in a quieter, simpler white. I can't tell if the living room cabinets are creamy compared to the white kitchen, but I hope they are the same in a small open space.

The new floors looked like the old floors. I would have been disappointed to have spent money on that for sure.
Why not just tell the owners it's going to be delayed because the wrong floor was installed and they need to be stained?
Maybe the toldcthe owners & gave them a choice: take what you got or spend time to redo it.
Why did they run the countertop material up the wall?
It is to cover the hood - quite fashionable atm

I don't love it, this is too busy, specially the kitchen... would be very disappointed if this is my house after decoration. The decorators were not inspired, like they normally are. The layout is good
Wow, I thought this was super inspired. They were able to work with the owners wants and turn it into magic with the mixed metals that play off the multiple wood tones and fabrics. Superb and cozy and yet dramatic.
I donât like it at all. The only thing I like is the floor.
Just because you don't understand the design doesn't mean the designers weren't inspired. That marble is a classic choice. It doesn't have to be your taste in order to be good design.

Counters, backslash and hood.............hideous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And seriously..... removing the stain glass did not add that much light but removes any character the house had!!!!
Wow, it's a good thing you're not a designer! You obviously don't have any idea what classic traditional design is. And removing the stained glass allows them to see outside & makes it feel more open, not closed off... which is more valuable than your idea of "character".

Beautiful job! I believe, if the floors were dark it wouldnât look right. Thatâs a really small footprint at around 500â. No way for viewers to see the the total picture in one shot with the dark ceiling beams. Gorgeous!! Well done!

i have to literally turn off the sound on all the shows on reveals...the fake screaming and over the top excitement is unbearable
I worry about installing LVP in 2023, at kind of the possible "end" of what may be a trend.
The midtone wood coloring is a supersound choice.
But, I wonder if porcelain tile over radiant heating, wood-look? OR, engineered hardwood over my cement Slab would be better, longterm?
Honestly the floors were a mistake that was not ok.. the one thing the client requested was dark floors. They are paying for this renovation. Itâs not being gifted to them. Nate and Jeremiah should have made it right.
Actually, no. They do pay into it, but as someone who is in this industry, there's no way what they pay covers ALL of what N&J do. Not even close. And if the homeowners like the floors, they're not a mistake.

i had both dark and light wooden flooring... after installation.. i wished the dark was light

It is too much for me too. It is as though pretty sedate American woman all start to scream when they see a camera. Like they have to put on an over the top show. I had dark wood floors & they show every piece of lint, even after swiffer. I hated them. They were not user friendly. BUT they remodel ppl should have deducted the $flooring price, asked the owner if they wanted the floor redone? They should have addressed this in the video.

Uh, oh, I HATE that veined marble in the kitchen. It doesn't go AT ALL with anything else in the house. To be honest, I don't think I've ever seen a house where it looks good. The mantel, the beams and the cabinet should have been the same color as the floors, so the space looks like a unit.

I didn't like this. Looks cheaply done,I didn't like the fireplace. Countertops look cheap,busy,they didn't even put in backsplash. Flop for me. Normally they do better. This seemed half assed done. No real design element to it,at all.

If I were paying for the Reno there would be no tears or screams. The cabinets should be further away from cook stove for more room to maneuver big pots. The counters and backsplash are too busy, and a quartz is easier care

The counter is beautiful. The floor is beautiful. The counter and floor together looks bad. They should have fixed the damn floor
If I spent thousands of dollars on flooring and they screwed up.. I'd be pissed. It's N and Js mistake. Not the homeowners. N and J should eat the cost. Period. What are they even talking about they don't have the money? Yes, they do. The money wouldn't come from the budget. It was their mistake. Or whoevers mistake, the contractor idk. Whoever screwed up needs to fix it.
