Rogan was the main protagonist in the 2-player playthrough. This time he doesn't have the help of Agent G, so he will go into the mansion alone.
Now that I had time to get used to the definitive version of this game, I was able to find better strategies to play it better, and at over 120fps at Max graphics. In this video, I also demonstrate how the mod affects the balance of the audio. Which in the Vanilla game is not very well mixed, unfortunately. Essentially, I removed the unnecessary sound effects and ambiences the games has, since a game should not have ambience and loud music at the same time.
Even worse, the developers thought to fix the crowding of sound would be fixed by removing the lower frequencies and keeping the high ends (AKA removing bass, and keeping the thinner sounds) so in the mod, I made sure to balance the frequencies without ruining the songs I worked on very hard.

Phenomenal work on the BGM- tracks! Itˋs because of your mod that I bought the remaster haha :) There is just one little tiny thing that bothers me a bit, which is the soundtrack restarting after the first meeting with Hangedman and Sophie. Is there anything that could be done about it or is it just how the game uses the tracks?
I've been looking into ways for the OST to loop normally instead from beginning to end. But that is how this game works, unfortunately.

I guess The House of the Dead Remake has other weapons while The House of the Dead from the 90's just has a pistol.
I wonder why they didn’t bring multiple weapons for HOD 3 and 4. I can understand 1, but the other games had proper console releases, so it’s weird to not see more gameplay options

This is the version I want to see in Arcades. It looks on par with Scarlet Dawn!
I wouldn’t say on par, but a good way to play the OG Remade. Scarlet Dawn is very hard, but my goodness is it not unfair with enemies hahaha
I like how the zombie's blood spray is pretty exagerated when you hit them, I like blood sprays in games.
I wish I could modify the graphical settings more. I hate precise games frame dropping on me. Especially because I play competitive fighting games. I honestly wouldn’t mind the Remake looking like crap if it can stably run 60fps

Can you mod the game with some of the original sound effects as well? The gunshot sounds, start sound, the car braking in the first scene, taking damage, bullet ricochets etc. you can find them all from HOD 2 and 3.
I’m not taking on that task since all my mod includes is my own music. I don’t want to turn the game into what could have been, but to instead pay homage to both the original music and the remake’s style
Me personally like the graphic update don't know about the grenades though.
I love the graphical update, too. Although it’s not optimized to run properly. The grenades I only use them for max kill points and grabbing items offscreen. Not to kill enemies
@@trexx45 gotch. Just seems to me that the gunplay could be fine tuned if that's the case always felt it was off a bit in these types of games, granted a lot of them have recoil. Anyways thanks for this the gameplay, update, etc.
I actually think the guns here are smaller. There are times I swear that I’m shooting the body of the enemies, and if you go in slow motion my cursor IS near their body, but the shots don’t count for some odd reason

Hello trexx , I'm new to the HOD series I see there's a discount on steam so I'm planning to buy the game but in the community section you put HOD2 and HOD3 which one do I download and use ? I will be buying The House Of The Dead: Remake. I want improved everyting ( Audio , Graphics , etc).
No worries. I should let you know that there is no official way to acquire HOD2&3. Those are only modded files with my music and other sound improvements. I recommend looking for a tutorial on modding each game 😃

This game is not on mobile, nor did I create this Remake. If you mean the Minecraft map, I’m afraid that project is the last thing I need to work on right now 😕. I have a big lineup of albums to do first, then any other project related to games 😃

Do you honestly prefer Classic or Modern Scoring? And what do you personally think of the Horde Mode and the Cooperative/Competitive scoring?
I prefer Modern because you can gain points from almost everything you shoot (kinda like the original) and haven’t tried coop and competitive that much, but I always like competitive to see who’s better, and coop if you want to have max points and keep it friendly
@@trexx45 And Modern basically guarantees that you get the True Ending because it's ridiculously easy to obtain the 62000+ point requirement in the first chapter alone. Though would it be a good thing to change the score requirement to get the good ending in case of Modern?

Honestly, those are really hard answers, but I will put them in order:
1. Magician theme, HOD2
2. Boss Battle, HOD1 Sega Saturn
3. Magician theme, HOD1 arcade

Boss theme from sega saturn had that crazy remix with piano and another instruments and gotic sounds.
Magician theme from HOTD 2 had that cool guitar
@@trexx45 I only wish that someone add a mod which modify sound in game because the gun and enemies sounds silence for some reason the music and improve some animation because i remember
There are mods for that. I just didn’t take the time to edit all sound effects in the game.
@@trexx45 One of the thing which i would choose is beetwen the voice of somme enemies.
CHariot in arcade version sound like a whale , in sega saturn dont have a voice and pc version sound like a crazy creature and same with another bosses.
Would be cool modify some sound of enemies and sound of weapon because there is a little diference in sound of another versions but are details which do a big diference.
My chariot voice favorite is in pc version :)

You would have to have an extra controller.
I already have a folder dedicated for this version só I can switch between this and arcade
I had to ditch the Arcade version until I can fix it. I made the mistake of mistaking how the actually sound.

I did not get the bad ending. I put it there to have more dynamic videos lol 😂. You can’t get the bad ending if you get over 62,000 points hahaha 😃

Not that I know of. I tried messing with textures, but that process is a bit more delicate for my expertise

Todos estamos muy decepcionados de que el estudio de Forever Entertainment no pudo adquirir los derechos a una gran parte de la franquicia. La música si que daba esa atmósfera y para mi la música Remake no pego mucho, por que se sintió más como un remplazo, que algo hecho con una nueva perspectiva 😕

Desafortunadamente, no. Me gustaría mucho trabajar con ellos en el segundo Remake. Aún si no puedo usar la música original, haría lo que prefiera para que sonara muy especial y con mucho amor al juego original 😃
Aunque las voces del remake de magician tribute también suena alguien parecido a un personaje Slade el Villano que si tiene la mente de un asesino en serie el personaje de los Teen Titans los jóvenes titanes del 2003 aunque ayer ya vi el último episodio y la última temporada aúnque al final es una pena que haya terminado de esa manera bueno todos esperaban un final bueno para todos claro por cierto si que Batistes el récord mundial limpiando a Magician 😉👍
Además vi en un video de the house of the dead 4 localización de objetos como monedas y puntos extras para ganar además algunos si lo sabía pero el resto no cuando vi ese vídeo dije que desgraciado todo este tiempo no lo sabía la mayoría pero ahora lo sé lo probé para ver si era verdad y si me resulto a mi encontré la localización de cada bonus monedas ocultas ranas doradas hasta botiquines te dejo el link para que lo veas oh sí vistes el vídeo oh no pero aún así que desgraciado el juego que me troleo porque ni yo lo sabía que estaban en cada nivel del capítulo 1 hasta el 6 con el Mundo The World el último jefe de the house of the dead 4

Screw you. It IS necessary to have all those sounds at once. Also the cut scene audios are NOT loud.
Before you judge, you should check out the other mod I made, that DOES NOT remove that.
Did you know that grass has a sound effect in the files? When in the game do you get close to the grass to listen to that? Or why do you need the Thunder mixed in with the wind, the rain and the wood ambience? This game is not an Adventure or RPG type. You can't stop and listen to the ambience or details to need all those sounds playing at once.
If you've done any sound design, you'd know that you should also NEVER normalize your sound files. You hear how in the original the game seems to feel compressed or kinda squeezed? Well that means that the audio needs some work to be balanced with the other sounds.
