Also, the roaches are disgusting 🥴 I went to college in Brooklyn and the downtown area had a lot of construction. I encountered them twice in two separate dorm rooms, same building. My roommate and I would just add ammonia to our mop water whenever we cleaned. Never seen one in our dorm after that. Try that for extra protection.

I just moved to the DFW from the midwest and when I tell you they was everywhere inside my new place... babbbbyyy I was not going. lmbbboooo exterminator called immediately because I literally was not moving in until they came. But I too was thinking, the people before me was nasty AH... The previous tenant said it was common, but I was like whatever, ya'll just tryna cover up ya'll funk lmbooo. I had a palmetto bug in my master bedroom. I stayed up ALL NIGHT for fear it would land on me. With all the rain we had in Atlanta for a while, I saw a second one. Then I saw a FEW outside on my front porch. They ran into my hedges, so I bought roach hotels and put them outside under my hedges. Those ninjas are ALL the poison TWICE! Problem solved!

I went to law school in Florida and the “outdoor” roaches and lizards were toooooooo much for me! I would stare them down for a good hour before I would get the courage to try to sweep them out the patio door or kill it. Too much!!
