One thing I noticed about Marvel is that they portray characters better in guest appearances than in their own movie.

Namor was trying to force Wakanda to be the front line in his war against the surface world and wanted to kill an innocent young woman because she accidentally stumbled onto his secret.
Killing Riri wouldn't have protected his people, and it was only through Wakanda's grace that they didn't broadcast his people's existence to the world and wipe them out.
Namor was uncommonly sympathetic as a bad guy yes, but he was still a stubborn fool who left innocent bodies in his wake because he couldn't listen to others.

And there's M'Baku: the Fishman
That punch really changed him.

I love that wakanda's tech is so advanced their ships don't explode when crashes.

Still hoping for a lot more with this character. He's one of Marvel's all-time classic guest stars for a reason-- you can throw him into any cast and he has an interesting dynamic that makes it better.

It is larger and thicker glass. It would make sense that it would be more durable.
@@trueblue6201 especially when it's the throne room, the room that holds Wakanda's most powerful family and controls the most powerful nation in the world, all of Wakanda is covered in Vibranium, so who knows how much vibranium they needed to put on the throne room. It's also one of the most powerful substances in the universe. Other nations earlier in the film wouldn't take vibranium without no reason.
@@camerongough3491 the bomb is more than likely made from vibranium. Coupled with with the velocity of his enhanced throw, multiple bombs being thrown, and the pressure from the water exploding I dont find it shocking how fast the glass broke.
This is the best scene in the movie. He seems like he has so much experience at tearing shit up!

This is the first on screen appearance of Namor the submariner in the MCU. Badass. I swear that guy thought he was dead after getting punched.

Even though I’m not a big fan of Black Panther, the reason I saw this movie was for Námor. Such a great decision to change his back story for the better. Plus he’s of the best villians in phase 4 and they kept him alive and now just a one time villian

@LANDBACKbyANYmeans Debateable. Talocan through Namor invaded Wakanda's borders, threatened its leaders, attacked and kidnapped its ruler's daughter, and then threatened Wakanda's head of state. The rescue of Shuri and death of one Talocan is arguably not the first strike.

Namor didn't kidnap Shuri. She asked to be taken to him so she could persuade him not to kill Riri. Also, he asked that Wakanda help fix the issue that threatened his people. So, yes, Wakanda did attack first.

Technology advanced. Tulokan isnt as advanced as Wakanda but Namor is way stronger than any Wakandan, including Black Panther, plus he floods Wakanda. In a war Wakanda would probably win though.

Even in the comics Prince Namor was always portrayed with small wings on his ankles. It might look silly in the movie but he's actually had them his whole life and is considered a mutant power for flying. He can fly at great speed and for indefinite periods of time.

This movie sucked and the box office says so in comparison to the 1st BP movie! A major reduction in ticket sales this movie had by hundreds of millions of dollars from the 1st movie a form of rejection to wokeism! The effects of Namor were good but a Messican Namor for the sake of inclusion and a non contemporary city replaced by adobe huts underwater was garbage! Namor had a futuristic city not mud huts! Namor should have been Asian also and much taller !! This version of Namor looked nothing like the comic books nor the storyline it was force fed! To have a Namor with a bone in his nose and a huge feather headdress UNDERWATER was garbage the 2 don't mix! They should've RECASTED TChalla without question he was missed badly! There's too much male storyline with TChalla to throw in a 100lbs stick figure woman as the lead call me sexist l don't care! They better revamp BP and RECAST TChalla, cause we came too damn far almost 50 years to get TChalla on film just to have him killed off in 1 efing movie!! They also need to recast Namor that sheet dosent fly! The final fight scene was also stupid the whole movie was major drop from the 1st! I can go in but why!! Marvel seems to have an more an agenda than making a good movie and judging by the box office in comparison to the 1st BP movie Marvel won't be around much longer! Wolverine should also be RECASTED cause A 6'2 Wolverine when he should be a 5'2 inch runt in stature takes away from the essence of who Wolverine is really all about! Get it together Marvel!!!
