    Don’t downshift to 1st coming to a stop

      I’ll be honest I have no idea why I downshifted to 1st at that point as I’d never done it before. 😂

      Never a problem to downshift to 1 slowing down if you're experienced enough to do it .. we always do it in the speed circuit on a sharp curve ... Ha ha ha it was fun

  • @exploringsydneyandbeyond9059

    Sorry but that front wheel tramp is why I won't own a high powered front wheel drive car. AWD yes , I have a rear wheel driven 2013 manual 6L V8 commodore in Oz modified to 550hp , by far the best street car against anything new today , gets 8L /100 on motorway and comfy to cruise long distances but drop a few gears and it's a V8 supercar, raw, loud , pushed into your seat power. Well presented video though, good job.

    • @NateDawg14307
      @NateDawg14307 Před rokem +1

      @@RomanticPopPunk Definitely not the same price... new Golf R is $45,000 where as Corolla GR is $36,000. Also, Corolla GR makes 300HP and 0-60 in 4.9 seconds. Would not call that "slow" by any means... Sure, the Golf R has some definite benefits and pros over the GR, but that doesn't necessarily make it the better hot hatch imo.

    • @RomanticPopPunk
      @RomanticPopPunk Před rokem

      @@NateDawg14307 just admit I’m right lmao. Do you see anyone testing the base version of GRC? Everyone is testing the circuit version, because otherwise it wouldn’t have all the performance and how much is the circuit trim? That’s right 43K for a 3 cylinder. You can cope and believe in Toyota’s marketing ploy, or use your brain and spend 2K more for the best hot hatch.
