I just subscribed to support this young lady. As a 64 year old male who has been an audiophile since 1979, I believe that my generation must encourage younger generations into our audio passion.
Very well done review. I actually bought a pair of the KEFs last month because positive reviews have been very consistent across the board. One of the standouts of this review was seeing a woman HiFi reviewer for the first time… and hearing her perspective. Thanks! Will subscribe!!
It's good to see young people in the audiophile community. Most of the people are old guys like me. I bought my first system in 1975, so yes I am an old guy!
Great to see a young lady in this space. Subbed to support.
Greetings from Scotland! Excellent review. I just subbed
Wow! What a wonderful, concise review. Class C and Class G amps!? I've never heard eiether of those - we need to see your setup.
Can't wait to hear more from you.
Class D and Class G.
Nice to see you back again my friend.
Jim🏴🙂
🤗 THANKS FOR YOUR REVIEW 💚💚💚
Nice review! I totally agree with your assessment of the LS50 Metas. I had them for a short while and did not agree with all the other reviews about how good they are.
This was a useful review video
Will have to check out the past content
Subscribed and hope you continue to put our new content
great review imformtive and. intresting with. detail. kef are great speakers. really showing ur set up. very nice indded. the turntable looks wicked
Great review!!!
Great review. You will go far. Perhaps add your opinion on things like "living room" decor factor or room size appropriateness. Perhaps a comment as to listener type ....
A few thoughts but follow your gut this is the way a new audience in the hobby can be drawn in.
I have come a long way with kef speakers. The first were the original ls 50, then I bought the meta version, currently I own the r3 meta, and in about 5 weeks my endgame will arrive in the form of the reference 1 meta. I love the sound of these speakers I know this will be the end of my road when it comes to speakers. As usual great material regards.
What amp are you driving the r3s? And what you using on the reference? Awesome speakers
I now use nuprime ida 16 with r3 meta, and under reference at least at first will also be combined. In my opinion it is a great amp with great power and bass control so I am curious how it will power these speakers
Very good review young lady! Thanks for sharing. New subscriber here.
very nice review, thanks!
Great review.
r3 meta... better than I thought it would be.
Good review and glad I ran across your channel! In looking at your set up I am assuming you use them for music only. Curious how they do for home theater. Did you happen to test in that scenario also, if so could you share your quick thoughts?
Unfortunately I did not use them for home theater (I use a soundbar with my TV).
I also had a similar journey to yours. I had LS50 Metas previously which I really loved but upgrading to KEF R3 Metas with the combination of Hegel H190 and Gustard R26 DAC the sound became even more 3D holographic. I also use KEF's KC62 Sub from my previous setup which still helps to extend the frequency range and enlarge the soundstage
Glad to here , not harsh
Potato Maven, i’m just saying that if you uploaded a playlist then i’d check it out
Great review.
I'm currently stuck deciding between the Kef R3 Meta, Arendal 1723 Monitor S THX and the Wharfedale Aura 2.
Meta's are the best all rounder in the group. The Arendal's need to be paired with a sub. The Wharfedale's have limited vertical dispersion. Not saying any of this has to matter to you, just putting it out here.
@@bearclaw5115 Yeah, but the Wharfedale is the cheapest one and has the most base output, the Arendal can get the loudest but it's the ugliest, and the Kef is the most expensive. hmm tough. choice. I'm waiting on a few more reviews and comparisons out there to decide.
...the r3meta is defo worth way more than the asking price!
Nice video! I have the Arcam SA20 and absolutely love it. I don’t listen loud so I’m getting more of the “Class A” portion of the Class G with my KLH Model 3’s.
Question for you: how did your SA20 match with the R3 Metas? Any concerns? Good luck with your channel!
A bit smooth with deep bass (not as impactful as with a Class D). The SA20 is my favourite amp.
@@Potato_Fi thank you for your feedback! SA20 is on clearance now and an absolute steal!
I think you could have spent more time contrasting the Celan and the Meta's. It's no surprise that a nearly double the cost speaker performs better but did the Celan's do anything better?
great video, how did they sound with the sa20?
A bit smooth with deep bass (not as impactful as with a Class D).
Did you make it to Axpona this year oh and great review ❤
Unfortunately no. I went to the Masters Tournament which was held on the same dates.
@@Potato_Fi oh okay awsome well maybe next year bye the way love your review
Not good to place sub direct to listener, it's better to put it in the corner with dynamic in corner direction.
Bad Channel Name, Sorry but true for me. Good reviewer and reviews. I am into HiFi as well as Potato's of many types. What do they have to do with each other?
I have to agree. I think she should switch it up before she grows herself into a potato shaped box.
Ohio?
My unique/strange of humor. 🤣
i heard they sound little thin
What’s a “woover”?
Woofer 🤣
