Great video!!! I should seriously consider the Pyramids as a new hardware sequencer. It seems to have features that nobody else seems to have. Thanks for sharing it.

the new update sees waveforms from lfos on the screen, pretty handy !

Great video! I'm thinking of getting one of these, but not sure if its possible to easily sequence a full arrangement in one yet with the current firmware. How do you find arranging a full track / song? From what I understand its not currently possible to create say an 8 bar pattern with say drums split over 5 tracks and then say another 5 tracks for midi instruments, and then copy that 8 bar pattern, modify it slightly and then copy it again, modify that version, copy it again but this time cut it in half so its just 4 bars and then change the end for a fill and then once you have all these variations of your original 8 bar pattern, put them together to form a song, say have the first one repeat 7 times then go into the first variation once then go into the third for 7 and then go into the fourth, etc....
Is it possible to put together a full arrangement like this yet? Or is it just having a load of tracks and then having to arrange the mutes of these different tracks to try and form a song?

Absolutely. You should join the Pyramid board for all the answers, there's some really great discussions. But in short, yes. Start with a pattern on a track, copy, modify, extend. What took me a little while to get used to is the fact that a step, is really just a zoom level. So at the lowest zoom level, a 1 bar track will be 1 step, at the highest (1600%) something like 64 steps. But note length and offsets means you could go even finer. When you manipulate a step, you modify one or all of the notes that started (note-on) on that step.

Once you have a bunch of tracks (up to 64), you can add these tracks to any sequence ( the sequence remembers the mute state of the tracks ) and then you can arrange how sequences are arranged. repeat intro sequence twice, then go to verse sequence, then chorus, solo, etc. you can have a "traditional" song structure, or us the sequences in live mode to just control the mute state of different tracks. With the option of having the sequence either remember your live changes to muting and un-muting, or go back to the last saved stage.

the electrode is a 16 track midi sequencer as well..do I need the piramid if I already have that?

The Electribe is a very limited sequencer. 4 bars, 64 steps, polyphony is awkward. Also you can't claim that the DAWs make hardware sequencers irrelevant and then say that the built-in Electribe sequencer is good enough... I find that I can create much faster in the Pyramid than in other devices, including a laptop.

What is the MAX speed of the LFO?
