On your air fryer you need to press the lever under the basket to open and close.Thats why it looks as if it is stiff.
Hi Mazzy. Home made sausage rolls in the air fryer. Just roll out some puff pastry. Some decent sausage. I don't bother removing the skins. Great midnight munchie food in about 12 mins. Dave.
You will save so much money using the air fryer, and in my opinion the food is so nice cooked in it. Mc canns steak chips are my fav chips they are so crisp when cooked. I do down a little for French fries.and it doesn’t tend to cause the kitchen to get hot either.
My cooking bills are no end cheaper since using mine. Cooking times are a lot less as well. A good idea is to shake the basket often while cooking,for chips.

Before I stopped eating bread a year ago I always made cheese toast under the broiler. Top a piece of toast with some cheese and melt under the broiler or using the broiler function in your air fryer. Toast topped with sliced tomato and cheese on top is good as well especially with Swiss or Gruyere cheese. Great open face toasties. Broiling means the heating comes from the upper element of your oven. The bottom does not come on as it would if you were baking something.
I have a 2 draw air fryer wouldn’t be without it they are really versatile happy air frying Yorkshire puds are amazing

Hi Dan and Mazzy, it looks really good. It cooked your meal well. I've got the cosori dual blaze, i bought it after watching the butler's reviewing it. I was watching them last week reviewing an ultenic cordless hoover, i was impressed with that so when my Dyson conks out i will get one of them.
It does seem more useful than the single basket air fryer...Happy meals....

Ive friends in the US and we had a bit of confusion when we first talked about food and cooking. They say broil where we say grill but to them grilling is BBQing.
Thing I like about airfrying is the speed compared to a large oven. I can be eating in the time it takes the main oven to heat.
One thing i did do was get a cooking thermometer. I was ages getting used to the idea of things like chicken being cooked so quickly 😀

Broiling is a North American term, not really used or understood elsewhere in the world. It means cooking something directly under a very high heat source (what in the UK would be called grilling.) Originally, the heat source would have been gas elements; now, they may be electric instead

We call it a grill... its browning something usually, or cooking quickly under a high heat, sometimes its smoky because fat is close to the element or heat source
To broil is just a more intense heat… in an oven if you broil ……the elements on the top of the oven are used because it’s more direct and hotter.

Looks fab, I have problems with my dexterity so touch screens are impossible ... I wish they did these doubles with knobs and buttons .... That one looks quite impressive.
Broiling, cooking by exposing food to direct radiant heat, either on a grill over live coals or below a gas burner or electric coil. Broiling differs from roasting and baking in that the food is turned during the process so as to cook one side at a time.

When I’m using my air fryer I use the temperature on the packet but half the cooking time better to need to cook for a few minutes longer as overcooking everything

Broil is what Americans call it, it’s grill to us uk folk. Be great for marking cheese on toast.
To answer your query ‘broil’ is what our former commonwealth friends call grilling.
Broil means on an air fryer caramelise topping or get a brown topping on ya food. Love ya videos xx

We have silicone liners for our Air Fryer they are great it’s so easy to keep clean
Broil is just grilling… frozen foods are cooked on 200c on mine

I think an oven will do all those functions, depending on the temperature and time taken. Any old oven would dehydrate it means low temp and long time..like cooking a meringue. Broil is grill so high temp shorter time. In an oven we don't differentiate between roast or bake do we? We do roast dinners and bake cakes..if we want to loll

@@TravelTrollsTV I use an airfryer..an oven hob and a microwave. What I'm trying to say is these settings on an airfryer are no different to a traditional oven. Its about the temperature setting and the time. Let's face it most of us use the 180c setting most of the time on an oven but the dial goes much lower for a reason
@@jopickett9679 but an airfryer is 60% quicker and uses 80% less energy. That is what an oven will not do.
Love our air fryer we hardly use the oven anymore!
@@TravelTrollsTV yes if what you are cooking fits in and you are not having to use your airfryer multiple times to cook different components. Martin Lewis explains it better than me! I love my airfryer if I'm cooking for just me. But sometimes an oven is more economical. The Butlers have given so much brilliant advice but all those different functions ie bake/roast/airfry are just about temperatures. Before airfryers I roasted and baked in my oven, it depends on what you're cooking. Cakes bread and pasta was baked and jacket potatoes , meat or vegetables were roasted?? Whats the difference? Mazzy If I was you I would definitely use an air fryer over your oven..I'm clumsy by nature and watching you lift hot stuff over your head to use your oven gives me the heebe jeebes. Keep up the good work x
