The home of Janice Shepherd

This home belongs to Janice Shepherd. It is located in Tennessee, in the town Janice grew up in. Janice shares her home with her sweet dog Hannah. She adopted her from a kennel, where Hannah lived for nine years. She now gets all the love she deserves. The home was built in 1938 and is in the historical district. Janice has been lovingly restoring it in beautiful 17th century furnishings.

These homes are not only lovely in their simplicity, but they are filled with items also used in a utility way, instead of all the homes we see today full of "curated" items that have no purpose but cater to our hobbies.

This home is absolutely breathtaking!! Her decor is so clean and simple. Yet, she uses her pieces of decor and furniture in a way that draws the eye to every inch of a room. I would love to know where you all get your decor and furnishings. I’m in Texas and I don’t see much of this here. But, I would love to learn where to source more pieces for my home. Thank you again for another relaxing tour!
