    Hoover turbo scrub carpet cleaner for how to clean carpets is what this DIY howto video is about. VideoJoe was in need of cleaning some condo carpets so off to the hardware store he went to get a Hoover carpet cleaner. He likes using a hoover carpet cleaner & every so many years Hoover comes out with a new version/model of carpet cleaners & this time it was the Turbo Scrub variety for the Hoover carpet washer cleaner. He's always had good luck with cleaning condo carpets with a Hoover carpet cleaner so that's why he's sticking with the Hoover. Sure there are other types/brands of carpet cleaner steam cleaners out there but when you get one to work just stick with the brand & that's why he sticks with the Hoover carpet steam cleaner. This baby packs a punch for sure & he will have it paid for before he even cleans two entire condos! Everything after that will be pure profits for him every time a vacation owner says hey Joe can you clean our condo carpets again? Cleaning carpets with a Hoover turbo scrub carpet cleaner is easy...when you know how. Watch & learn as VideoJoeShows you his brand new Hoover Turbo Scrub Carpet Cleaner for how to clean carpets. Nice!

    Question do you have to refill the top water tank every time it goes empty during the cleaning or do you just fill the water tank one time before you clean the carpet and it will stop on it’s own when it needs refilled? I’m confused about this part.

    • @videojoeshows
      @videojoeshows  Před 3 lety

      When the top tanks gets fairly low then you need to stop & refill it or you will run it dry & then nothing will happen....

    Does this carpet cleaner have an off switch for the brushes so one can just suck up spills.

    • @videojoeshows
      @videojoeshows  Před rokem +1

      That's a very good question & my answer is "I'm not quite sure". What I can tell you is the carpet cleaner needs to be on carpet areas to suck things up since the carpet cleaner needs a continuous suction to it in order to for it work...meaning if you are on a tile floor or lino floor or something like that then the carpet cleaner doesn't want to maintain it's suction since it's on a hard surface & then it revs up & loses it's suction so I think the roller brushes are continuing to turn when the carpet cleaner is working. I don't have this carpet cleaner any longer so I can't go out & try then get back to you. I have a different carpet cleaner now & I think the one I have now will such up spills on hard surfaces as the suction is built differently than this one so I guess you would say it kind of depends what carpet cleaner you get at the store but yes that's a good thing to check on before buying a carpet cleaner. Good luck!

      @videojoeshows  Před 4 měsíci

      Not sure what model that Hoover was but I can tell you I use a newer model now as I find after a couple of years you will need to get a new carpet cleaner as they don't last forever & every few years they seem to come out with a newer one anyway. Thanks for stopping by!

    Price went up $229 now.

      Yes. It seems each year they come up with a higher price just like everything else! I got a new one a few years ago & the price was higher of course like you say. I figure if I use the cleaner for 10 to 15 times I have just made all my money back & from then on it's pretty much free other than the cleaning products. Thanks for stopping by. I have lots more videos you might be interested in for saving money around the house. Just go to my main CZcams channel page then click on playlists then scroll!

      $400 for a Hoover carpet cleaner?! I've seen them for less than $300. Although I got the one I showed a good 2 years ago so maybe they've gone up?

      I did read the directions after I made this video. I'm shocked that I would say I wasn't going to read the directions as I usually encourage viewers to always read the directions/instructions to stuff you buy at the store. Thanks for calling me out on it! Make today great!
