- The embattled former Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, has denied the payment of his children school fees with monies from the coffers of the State government.
According to the press release signed by his Media Officer, Michael Ohiare, the former governor accused the Chairman of the Economic Crime and Financial Commission (EFFC), Olanipekun Olukoyede of trying to convict him by all means in the court of public opinion rather than in the law court

All the suspected armed robbers in the country should go to court and obtain a restraining order to prevent the law enforcement from arresting them. Remember everyone is innocent until proven guilty, but a suspect first will be charged to court before their innocence or guilt will be proven.

We were complaining about corruption, embezzlement of public funds by people we stay in the sun to elect into public offices. The current EFCC chairman claimed he met the case file on ground but the same case file of Fmr Gov Matewalle is also in that efcc office, the fmr EFCC chairman was the one who initiated this case per say. Also he started that of Matewalle but Matewalle case cost him his job and accused fmr gov Matewalle is now a minister. And you are talking about corruption fighting. Let's leave emotions aside. The court has no jurisdiction to interfere in the investigation of a suspect in a criminal offense.
Why wount you visit effcc, go there and clear yourself.
efcc is not law Court
So he should not obey the law, let him go there, if its inoccent he will
be free after all other former governors do go there and come back.
Bello should spend the rest of his life in prison and the current gov of kogi state should be recalled by his party in a civil society only
Belo is in prison already because he can not walk freely now

Efcc should do the needful to vacate the kogi court judgement.
