The impact Khalida makes on ranged nearby is huge. She buffs the damage, reload speed and AP values of all ranged units near her, a casket can do over 1,100 dmg by her just being nearby (from just 800), the true blessing skill increases that to something absurd like 1,800 per shot. Plus the bonus AP.
For archers they can go from 18 to 23 damage, which considering their unit count is a brutal amount of extra damage. But the biggest boon from them is the 20% extra AP which makes short work of mostly any armoured monster unit the Lizardmen have.
Also her necroserpent is very, very good. She can get in and out of combat easily to snipe lords and her chariot robs her of her duellist potential. She later gains regen, frenzy and free legionary barrage uses for every battle she's in, which can rip apart all infantry in seconds.
Yeah I almost never use chariots in my opinion the only worthwhile chariots are setra's flame chariot & arkhan's death chariot.
I love this paticular campaign, well done Legend!

Yeah, grinds my gears when enemy agents foil my ambushes. Mind you, works both ways. 😊
Bone giants shooting through a line of troops longways can do insane damage. I routed a chosen unit with two or three bolts when they were on a wall I was shooting down and the unit next to them almost broke too from collateral damage

Maybe I am nitpicking or over min-maxing, but for early stages of battle(skirmishing) why don't you keep Khalida near your archers? Her aura boosts skirmish units a lot, not that it would justify keeping her out of battle but for battle-starter you may dish out more damage.
he addressed that during the video saying that he saw the damage buff after using all the ammo of the skeleton archers so he just said ''well if we lose by a small margin then it's because of that'' or something like that, i guess since he's not familiar with Khalida he just forgot about it :)
I would like to see you start a series as the Dwarves on legendary. Ive tried this campaign like a dozen times and by turn 20 or so each green skin faction has about 3 or 4 full stacks and its insanely difficult to break out of the silver road. I know you did one for WH1 but with mortal empires the dwarves have it really tough. Regardless love the content keep it up
If you think the Dwarfs have it tough now, wait until TW3 gets added into the ME map and the eastern edge of the map becomes the Darklands, which is full of even more Greenskin factions plus Ogres and the Dawi-Zharr too! Ohh the southern part of the Worlds Edge Mountains by Karak Azul will have Nagashizzar to cope with.
Legend, ambush chance means chance of ambushing when enemy army actually meets your army and if it's fails should be a regular battle, so chance of discovering that army is in ambush stance is different thing, i think it depends of how many characters in the area and that is the reason why this was foiled several times in a row

He says its less efficient than doing it yourself! Although that only applies if your a micro king or you can pause / slow down.

When you're cycling heroes with tomb kings and you have free ranks on them, you should really dump the points into canopic jars. Free shit.

5:27 I'm really not sure about deleting that one. Yes, you are the legend of total war, not me, but I think Sepulchral stalkers, Necropolis Knights and even Nehekhara horsemen (the anti-infantry T3 version) are objectively better than skelly spears, especially considering how many of them you have already.
Maybe it would have been better to get the units out of it, then delete it after?
You got spotted from ambush due to the lizardmen agents also you know full well this player lost this so given that I would have made sure every main settlement has walls.
I can't imagine playing Tomb Kings and being 65 turns in with a 340 income lol. Terrible.
