Anyway, if you have any interest at all in pronouncing a large American city the way Americans pronounce it, with Detroit, put the accent on the second syllable. deTROIT. Phil, I have a number of soul cd's, must admit I'm more familiar with Motown music but Don't know this song writing team. In checking on line am I correct this compilation is with the original singers ? Thank you for the review and good day from the U.S.A.
This time period was after they left Motown. They wrote many hits for Motown in the early and mid 60’s. Dozier left at some point in the early 70’s to focus on his solo career and production company.
Not being picky as it looks a really nice set and I am tempted to buy it, but it looks to me like those four discs could have been crammed onto three discs as I bet none of them are anywhere near 80 minutes in length?
