You live in Sweden, I would take a 1290 super adventure for some TET offroad adventures. Do some backpacking and travel all the trans European trails you can. But that’s if I was in your position.
I can tell that the biggest let down of new bikes are the electronics that interferes. The best bikes are always the once with no electrics and safety nets. I could take front wheel abs if i had a simple switch. That’s all i would ever need.
For racing and experienced riders yes. But for the majority of bikers they can get life-saving support from the electronics on the road (like cornering ABS looks really interesting)
@@BLDH For sure, i wouldn't want abs that is not for cornering. There is huge difference in newer abs system and cornering abs usually a completely new system that works much better. Honestly abs on bikes been sketchy up until now. I still not a fan of bikes with abs because bike behaves so strange. Like not being able to lock the rear break has made me fall over and could of ended real bad. Most electronics have come from racing, yet they not at all the same thing. It really only the idea and the implementation are completely different. To me with how rigid our bike license is in EU it seems like very few riders are inexperienced to the point they get in trouble for wacking the throttle to much. Most people who do end up on a superduke 1290 aren't a beginner. Atleast when we talk about people here in EU. That being said, i still haven't ridden most new bikes. They all from 90ths to 2015 and just a handful of 2020 bikes. Lots of things change. Also i haven't taken any of those bikes to track.

hade provat en tuono på nytt, gärna en factorymodell, jag bytte nyligen till en tuono factory efter att ha haft flera ktm(790, 1290 superduke, 1290 super adventure s) och tycker att tuonon är mkt roligare. se till att få prova en som är rätt inställd ;)
took my mc card in april, bought a ktm 890 duke "starter bike" ( you really need the tech pack on the 890) , my cousin that i ride allot whit have the MT- 10, and i think I'm going to upgrade too that one when I switch bike later on :P ,on the MT- 10 power mode 1,2.3 is only how aggressive the throttle response is, but mode 1 is the most aggressive
Trying to learn to wheelie before I get my first supermoto, I'm currently learning on a KLX140G, and it's so hard to get it up, gotta give it so much gas. And the highest I got the front wheel is maybe a foot for like 2 seconds at most. Most of it is psychological I know but it's alot to learn! I imagine it's alot easier on a larger bike like a 500. The supermoto I'm gonna be getting is the klx300sm.

I actually tried the Hypermotard last time I was at this event. It was a funny feeling with a sportsbike engine in a slightly "motard" frame. The hypermotard is still a sporttouring and not a motard when comparing to a race bike (sumo).

The SDR gives 10-15deg of front wheel lift in normal modes.. You need track mode unlocked to be able to turn off anti-wheelie completely. ✊
you should try the mt-09 sometime , absolute hooligan bike :)
