The wild look in your eyes combined with the heavy breathing and huge mouthfuls is honestly disturbing. We’ve seen countless ‘last hurrahs’ and ‘fast food funerals’ on this channel and your health has only gotten worse. The only way things will ever change is if you DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. Until then, we can expect this cycle to continue. Are Indomie noodles worth losing a limb over?

I know it's hard, but you can't have a huge plate of pasta, rice and chicken, and then have two pizzas with all that cheese and two packets of ramen, when you are diabetic.
Having surgery is not the answer, it's not a miracle cure, if your mindset is not on it...all you will do is have the surgery and still eat.
    Get professional help.

So I mean this in the kindest way. One overweight diabetic to another. There can be no final hurrah or I'll start tomorrow. Because tomorrow will never come. I say this as someone who's diabetes got so out control I was unconscious for 2 days. You are getting older, your body cannot and will not continue to function like this. You have to love your life more then you love the high the food gives you. You need to seriously tackle your food addiction, and stop with the hopefullies and just do it. Your body will thank you. Your quality of life will change for the better. There is more to this life then food, and the temporary relief you get from the food.

Have you ever sat and watched yourself eat? You are in a hurry to get as much food in you as fast as you can. When you ate the pita pizza at one point you took 3 bites and had all of that in your mouth. You need to slow down. Take one bite,.put the pizza or fork down, chew your food thoroughly before you repeat. If you reduce how much you have on your plate and slow down you might feel like you ate a lot when in reality it was a smaller portion.
Also, it is better to eat your calories than drink them. The OJ is pure sugar for a diabetic. Stick with water or unsweetened ice tea.
Finally, when we eat sugar our body craves more food. Have you ever had a big meal, a piece of dessert and within 30 minutes super hungry again? It was that sugar in the dessert that will make you want to eat again quickly.

Chantal please watch your video again and pay attention to how you’re eating. I say this with zero judgment. You’re just barely breathing as you’re eating. You’re literally inhaling the food - I used to do it too - and before food it was cigarettes for me. Our human nervous system wants to be calm, which is why we do these things, but you’re in fight/flight mode and that’s why you eat extra or binge - it makes sense. It does work to get you calm, on some level, temporarily, but it’s now reached the point where it’s hurting you as you know. Trust me changing your breathing and practicing being “present” in the moment changes everything. But it’s not easy and that’s where professional help comes in to help you through the tough stuff that puts you in fight/flight in the first place. It’s a trauma response, most likely from the past, being triggered now, by who knows what? Most of the time we don’t even know. You really can do this but not without regular consistent support from professionals. Why not give it a try? And Ozempic as a tool as you undergo therapy? Transformation is so possible and we want to see you thriving 💜

Chantal just watch this video, you'll see for yourself the behavior combined with rapid eating & shoveling in the food...it's disturbing, it's not just eating to satisfy your cravings, you're going nuts on it!! watch then watch again and again until you see what we all see...i say change the behavior before changing what you eat, the rest may fall into place. You claim you're hard on yourself but this video is where you're really truly hard on yourself...stop hurting yourself like this.
    wishing you success ❤

I despise the whole "don't be so hard on yourself," At least under these circumstances. I've been told that and I've said the exact same thing- I have to be. If I'm not, how am I supposed to hold myself accountable and make changes? If I'm easy on myself, I'll be more likely to slip up. Be tough, hold yourself accountable, and know that you are not perfect. You absolutely have to push yourself to see those improvements in behaviors.

Fatgirlfedup developed a sudden and rare disease called calciphylaxis, a side effect of dialysis. It caused dozens of giant wounds/ulcers to form on her body, making her bedbound and weak for a year. Of course she gained some weight back from that. Casually saying "she had a regain at some point" is kind of ignorant... she has lost 100lbs naturally since going into remission last year, goes to the gym many times a week, eats well, and runs her DietBet challenge to encourage others' journeys..... it would serve you well to model after her.

I can't believe it, it's like a dream coming true. The Ozempic doesn't magically fix it, but it sure as hell makes it easier, it makes it tolerable. It saved me. I can sit in chairs and not even think about not fitting or breaking them, I have so many clothes and I actually get excited to leave my house. When I go in public, I am not constantly feeling stared at and judged. I feel free, truly free. You can do it too. You really can. Please do it. I believe in you.

if you are starving, then eat a fruits. or shiratake noodles. i also notice, you eat really fast. as in swallowing it in 1 gulp. did you finish the whole bottle that day? oh wow, you did finished the whole bottle in one sitting. usually that bottle i would save it for a couple of days, even if its my fave. while smoking, i just need it for a smoke. or chilling. but i dont drink preservative orange juice anymore, i only eat the real thing.
you can still indulge. you know how to cook anyway. i saw many recipe here on yt. its just too bad for me i cant eat soy. there are even kfc fake chicken here. anyway. and buy almond flour, cauliflower flour. i sense that i could be one of the new viewers here, but many people i have read said that they have given up on you. i guess people have different kind of patients when it comes to this. if this have been a year or two, etc, and nothing is happening, at the end of the day, its your life.
or for example, i smoke cigarrettes, and im going cold turkey, and i need to vlog it, i rather not, cause im not really in to that journey, and i dont want anyone shttng me on the things that i like to do or minding my own business. i rather not vlog about it. i do hope you understand what i mean. so i get it why others just gave up. not everyone has that patience. and felt like being lied too. and they feel like you are doing it on purpose. even if you just really have an addiction.

First stop telling yourself it’s the last one if you know you’ll do it again. You’re setting yourself up for failure, and just learn how to balance your meals. Don’t get hung up on what the meal is because then you’ll just binge if you eat something unsatisfying to you.

I've recently completed a guided self help program for binge eating disorder with my local eating disorder team. They said to eat 3 meals per day at set meal times with planned snacks so that you don't go longer than 2-3 hours without eating. They then said when that's in place to try to transition to a Mediterranean diet. Not eating unhealthy foods for a binge eater is setting yourself up for failure, there is no "bad" or "good" foods, restriction is part of the binge cycle. Also, writing a food diary and writing your thoughts, feelings and location at each meal can help to find trends and what may be triggering binge eating behaviour.

I understand the craving... Trust me, I'm like you... almost to 300 lbs. Now I'm 147 lbs.... I did it on my own. Living like this disrespects your body... IT'S NOT A FAST DEATH!!!! BUT A SLOW PAINFUL ONE FROM ONE LIMB TO THE NEXT...
CHANGE HAPPENS, WHEN YOU MAKE THAT CHANGE... PLEASE START LOVING AND RESPECTING YOURSELF ENOUGH TO CHANGE.... YOUR A MILLION TIME WORTH IT!!!
THIS IS YOUR LIFE YOUR STORY... DO YOU WANT YOUR ENDING TO BE REMEMBERED AS SHE ATE HERSELF TO DEATH, LIKE GEN???... OR SHE CHANGED HERSELF AND BEAT THIS ADDICTION, WHAT A STRONG AMAZING WOMEN WHO CAN BREAK THOUGH ALL OF THE BAD SHIT SHE HAD TO FACE.... FOOD IS TO KEEP US ALIVE, NOT KILL US...ALL OF THESE EMPTY CARBS YOU'RE EATING IS FILL WITH CHEMICALS TO MAKE YOU CRAVE THEM... LIKE DRUGS!!!!
SLOWLY LEAN OFF OF CARBS FOR A MONTH... YOU'LL SEE THE CHANGES... EVENTUALLY YOU'LL SEE YOUR BODY WILL ADAPT TO HEALTHY EATING.... YOU DID IT BEFORE!!! BUT SHORT TEMP GOOD EAT IS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO SEE THE CHANGE.... ESPECIALLY THE PORTIONS AND SAUCES ARE THE MAIN KILLER IN BAD CARBS... We don't think about it....
YOU JUST HAVE TO WORK YOUR HARDEST TO OVER COME THE TEMPTATION.... DON'T BUY FOODS THAT WILL BENT YOU TO THEIR WILL OF EMPTY BAD CARBS... IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT ON HAND MEANS YOU CAN'T SELF-SABOTAGE...
I REALLY HOPE CHANTAL YOU CAN SHOW US ALL YOU'RE WILLING TO FIGHT TO LIVE. THEN TO BE YOUR OWN DEMISE... YOU'RE WORTH LIVING A GOOD LIFE..... GOOD LUCK...

This video makes me sad. You are in such a hard point and I have been there. Food addiction is hard because we need food but the little signals in our head don't communicate the right messages. Add in how hard it is to not disorder eat. It's a recipe for disaster. BUT it's not impossible.
The first step is being accountable for your choices. You made a bad choice and clearly you felt it. This is where journaling will help. When you feel the need to eat, ask yourself what is triggering this reaction.
Next rebuild you relationship with food. Trying to make better choices and swaps. But still have some of those trigger foods in moderation. What people don't get about food addiction is you can't do an all or nothing method unless in active rehab or working in groups like overeating anonymous. Therapy is super important.
This is a lot and I have tonnes more I could write. Know it's possible but you're working against an invisible clock. Only you can take accountability and make this change.

Chantel have u thought about taking the Ozempic diabetic/weight loss shot? I'm not a fan of it because of some of the side effects but in ur case it's a life or death situation and I think the shot would be better for u to see if it works! The side effects can surely not be as bad as dying from diabetes! Please do something and take ur life seriously! You only get one life and when it's gone it's gone! NO SECOND CHANCES AFTER THAT!!! 🙏💔😢💔🙏

Spaghetti noodles have HALF the calories that Ramen noodles have. I think just being aware and making small, mindful changes to what you consume helps a lot!
There’s no “good food” and “bad food”……you can eat anything you want to eat! You can even make foods you love to be “healthier” or more nutrient dense and more filling! The only thing I see wrong with this meal, is it doesn’t have a lot of protein, it’s “empty calories” so most likely, you’re going to need hungry again which in turn makes you want to eat…..the way you’re feeling is normal. Famished. You’re not consuming enough protein to feel satisfied.

I'm scared for you Chantal. That orange alone is really bad for you as a diabetic. If you feel the need to eat like this sometimes at least have 1 pack less of ramen and drink water instead. I know you can't just stop dead but try to cut back as quickly as you can. I don't like all the mean comments you get and all the crap from reaction channels, so anything I say to you is only out of concern and care.

That is SO true…… “Keeping it off is the hard part”‼️ I have twice been able to lose over 40 kilos (45-46!) and kept myself like that for around 1 and 2 years…. I did it with to eliminate a lot of foods and drinks, sugars, carbs, potatoes, rice, pasta, gluten, meat, flour, breads, cakes, bisques, soda and so on!!! I only was drinking water, tea and black coffee! And was eating very limited foods twice a day. My last meal was consumed at 15:00 (or the latest 17:00 in the afternoon!) Fasting for up to 24 hours - But mostly like 18-19 hours!) And training 4 days a week in a training studio and the rest of the week walking for 2 hours or more! But suddenly I like starts to cheat myself and my head is telling me to just taste a little bit of this and a little bit of that every now and then…. It then becomes a daily routine and the weight slowly slowly starts to get back on my body again‼️ I start to allow myself ALL the foods, drinks and snacks I haven’t been eating for 1-2 years 💔 I have gained weight again and I am so disappointed off myself 💔 Because I know how to lose it (did it twice!!) and still yet I let myself go … And in the same way each time I failed!
I still today do the intermittent fasting and training up to 4 days a week in the training studio…. And I eat (mostly) twice a day!And I haven’t gained all the weight that I lost back again… But I will if I don’t start to change my mind about my eating habits again‼️ I have now gained around 20 kilos (of the over 40 kilos I lost!) and that is WAY too much for me! I was a very slim woman before…. I am 171 cm and my weight was 52 kilos for many years!! After giving birth to my 3 children I went up 10 kilos (up to 62 kilos!) and stayed stabilized like that for many years! I then get Hashimotos disease and started to gain a huge amount of weight… On my biggest I think I was around 116- 120 kilos 😱‼️‼️‼️ And ever since that time I have struggled with my weight (but now I am down to 87 kilos and I really hope to go down to be around 67 kilos for to be in a weight range that I can accept and live with!) But as I wrote….. It is SO hard even though I know it’s the best I can do for myself and my health… I have got diabetes type 2, cancer and a lot of other health challenges to overcome. And as a woman educated in the health department I know first handed how important it is to live healthy and keep a healthy lifestyle (in living, eating and thinking!) I just hope I can go back to my healthy way of eating and again be able to eliminate all the foods and drinks I KNOW is unhealthy for me! Don’t know WHY on earth I keep doing this to myself??? Maybe I go WAY too hard on myself when I eliminate almost everything from my consumption?? I wish I knew the answer to my own question…. I then would have had the key to solve my own problems when it comes to my weight gain and how to STAY slim after losing weight‼️

Seriously, don’t buy the ramen noodles (or cup noodles or anything similar)! They are TOO tempting and eating them just makes you want to eat more because of the balance of fat, salt, and sugar. You need to NOT BUY your problem foods or foods that could be a problem if you get them in the house. So no candy, chocolate, any of those things. Example: my kid likes to have sugary cereal in the house and I almost always end up eating some of it even though I have no business eating it since I’m overweight. But I don’t buy sweets or candy or anything like that so that I’m not tempted to eat it.

How do you gain control? First off, weight loss isn’t actually very complicated, it’s extremely simple. It’s that narrative that ppl tell you that it’s “sooo hard” that makes it intimidating but it’s really not. Mostly, weight loss and control is consistency. Eating similar foods at around similar times to have some routine so you know if you’re on track or not. But more importantly (actually most importantly) TAKE FOOD OFF OF A PEDESTAL. Food is important, sure, for energy and it’s enjoyable. But what it is NOT is a “thing to do” or a long-awaited “treat”. Viewing food in this way sets a sort of expectation that food is the answer to something, like an escape or a reward to avoid our problems or issues but the truth is when we don’t prioritize food in this way and start treating it appropriately, only then can we start tackling the real issues at hand. Disappointment in oneself, lack of motivation, things we have been neglecting, etc. but as long as you view food as this “woooooow!! Tasty!! Amazing!!” sort of thing the less likely it is you will ever overcome your addiction.
A lot of people say, “well, we need to survive. Imagine if a drug addict HAD to have drugs everyday to survive, that’s why this is impossible.” While it is true we need food to survive, it’s not true that you need the most palatable, fatty, sugary foods you can find to survive. In fact, these are the foods lessening lifespans.
Lastly, learn to cook very simple tasty meals and control the portion sizes (actually when you eat good foods that have a good amount of protein and fiber they tend to be very filling in lesser portions anyway).
A good rule of thumb being meat, vegetables and a verrrrrry small amount of carbs when you’re just starting out. At your weight I might even suggest leaving out the carbs from the meals for the first few weeks to give your body a chance to utilize the energy storage on your body for sugars for a while.
Overall, if you can look at food properly and stay (somewhat) consistent you’d be utterly surprised at how easy it is to lose weight (without even stepping in a gym no less).
    Good luck

A week without the "BS" sounds complicated. Take one food item, only one and eliminate it for one month, 30 days. That's generally enough to break a cycle. Maybe choose the ramen. Eat everything else but remove the ramen. 30 days. If that's successful look at something else the next month. Maybe sugar or bread. Just one item. You'll have broken the cycle on the previous item and you're just focusing on eliminating one. As well, don't let your ego run your life - hand it over to the real you. Chantel, Foodie Beauty, Miriam. None of those are your true identity.
