Personally I think buying a new truck is crazy. I bought a 2012 with 101,000 miles for $23,000 out the door. For that price I'd rather have four 11-16 superdutys, than one $100k+ truck.

The single cabs are rockets because they're so light. Love the single cab short bed duallys.
Ive got a 2011 f250 300k, original turbo. Deleted, no egr dpf ccv throttle valve. The tune is a 25 horse with the delete, sct. K&N intake with a much better filter.
Drivers side exhaust manifold warped and broke a stud, went with BD diesel replacements. 4in mbrp down pipe.
The truck is an absolute beast with low end torque, honestly itll push over 20psi fairly easy.
People down talk the sst, i however think that with the proper setup you can get more than what youd expect out of it. And i myself have done the bare minimum. The truck barley smokes when you're giving it the onion.
If it wasn't, my daily driver id add fueling and time, but that i feel would get near the threshold of the stock bottom end. A little over 400hp is what i wanted for reliability, maybe closer to 500, but again stock internals on those early motors were meh compared to whats out now. As far as if you wanna amp them up.
I dont deal with rust and i live it n the rust belt. Its real simple, krown rust proofing and fluid film. Do it it the spring and fall

Dang... IMO, if you would've cut the end pipe at an angle, to match the fender, I believe it would look a lot cleaner... It would match the OE style... I have an '18 with a 5" ATW and the drone at around 1600 to 1650 RPM is horrific!!!

Question: just got 5” exhaust , ez lynk w tunes. Haven’t touched my truck yet but….. since it’s stock now, can I take Dpf/put exhaust on THEN tune it? Or do I tune first?! Guess I’m dumb 😅. Appreciate you man
@jeremycopeland281 You will have to tune your truck with an off road tune if you get rid of dpf or the truck will not run
Tune first. Make sure everything loads to the truck properly before tearing anything down so you aren’t left with a paperweight in the driveway
Noob question. Wouldn’t you be jeopardizing your cp4 with a high hp tune. Are they not rated for 500hp? And personally from word of mouth on these fb forms the two top candidates have questionable tcm tunes.
