I am married 52 yrs and am 73 yrs old but oh my goodness your dress looks exactly like mine !! High neck ,long sleeves ,train and top of dress was guipure lace .I also had full veil. I still have my dress to this day ! Thank you ever so much for sharing xxx

Thank you for sharing your wedding album. It was beautiful ❤. My husband and I will be married 50 years this June. We married in 1974. Your album reminds me of mine ! I did my own hair and makeup too....not like the girls today! My bridesmaids wore peach and pale green.... sounds odd today but it was very pretty ! What a delight that was xx I got married in 1970 and my bridesmaid s wore mini skirts my dress was a plain white dress from m&s and a white floppy hat ha 😊😊❤
The floppy hats for weddings were all the rage in the 70s and looked really nice.

Hello Tina, I've just recently found your channel and have become a new subscriber. I love listening to you, I'm 61 and to be honest don't get on too well with watching the younger You Tubers without sounding too ancient, they really do seem to speak a different language. You talk a lot of sense and it's like sitting with a good friend. Your wedding album was lovely hubby and me got married in 1985 and it was a very similar wedding to yours, it was just a traditional family and friends celebration of two people who loved each other, not at all like the weddings of today that are more like theatre productions. I will watch regularly to see what you get up to very best wishes Angela🌸

No we just couldn’t have done it. We didnt have wine in those days or an evening buffet

Lovely jewellery Tina. Thank you for showing your Wedding Album, you looked beautiful, it reminds me of my Album, mostly black and white and we had three colour ones done separately. I got married in 1964. Why not have your eye brows done? Age doesn't matter Tina. Still waiting to see one picture of just you at your sons Wedding. Would be lovely to see what you wore. Xx

Hi Tina loved looking at your wedding album my husband and I got married March 1970 unfortunately our wedding album went missing we had a break in and lots of stuff went including the album so I felt a bit sad as we've no photos of our wedding to look back on X

Yes, getting telegram was important and for urgencies only. You are right. There was no texting. A lot of people did not even have house phone and had to use a neighbours. There was a list for months to have house phone I remember you could choose colour of phone. Red was popular

Loved seeing your wedding photos Tina, they are lovely. I am 63 and I have 2 older sisters, eldest sister is celebrating 50 years next year and my other sister is celebrating 50 years this July. The dress one of my sisters wore is very similar to yours. My eldest sisters husband also has an Omega watch which my sister bought him for a present for their wedding. He has also sent his away for a clean etc... his has had to be sent to Switzerland, all in all he may have it back in a years time!!!! Anew strap for it is £300. A wedding album brings back so many happy memories, and is great to look at now and again. Yours was lovely and you both looked so smart and happy. Thank you for showing it xx😊

lovely wedding so much like mine even the same heart cake but it made me sob i just lost my husband to cancer one minuite fit and healthy now gone cant look at my wedding album yet but yours brought many memories thankyou x
Oh it’s so hard but it will get better. My husband had Parkinson’s for years but died of cancer too.

My sister and I had very long hair, and each wedding we attended, my mum would put rags in our hair the night before. Didn't they cause a sleepless night? so uncomfortable. I had a heart-shaped wedding cake with the posie of flowers on the top to, I married in tbe 80's. It's so lovely to reminisce. ❤

So reminiscent of my own wedding in 1974 You look beautiful in your wedding dress my own hair was very similar to your on my wedding day I remember getting up at the crack of dawn to put my rollers in my hair no money for going to the hairdressers or my makeup done just did it myself My lovely mam made our wedding cake it was lovely We went to Reigton gap in a caravan for our honeymoon Now 2 children later 4grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren Where did all those years go Thank you Tina for sharing your lovely day xx
