Yes it is super tricky to find flattering lipsticks with a unique skin tone! I have a lipstick and lip liner video that I made to help pull lipsticks towards a more flattering look. Lip liner helps so much!! If the tone of the lipstick is off you may be able to do something about it.

I was looking to buy more of Lisa Eldridge lipsticks (i have only 2) and this was a timely and very helpful video. I find a lot of other videos about these lipsticks not looking true to colour(even the pictures on Lisa's website look very different to what I have) perhaps due to the light settings, but I felt this was most true to colour and the comparison swatches with different coloured lipliners are so helpful! Also I love the pacing of the video, your calming voice and beautiful look. It is such a pleasure to watch. I will check your other videos. Keep the good work ❤❤

Amazing all the colors looked wonderful on you. I would call the customer service about all the lipsticks that are broken. ❤❤❤❤
I did do that. They ended up kindly refunding me but said that it was my roughness with the product as opposed to the formula being drier. Some came like that and the others broke very shortly after using it once so I know it wasn’t me. But that’s ok.

You look great in all the shades, I prefer the Cinnabar & also like the Berlin shades. The lighter shades like Fawn is also quite nice. Great video!

I wonder if the colors that look bad on you could look different with different colors in your cheek and eye products. Sometimes they clash with each other.
Your lips are in such perfect condition, I wonder if you have a treatment plan that you could recommend for my ever-flaking lips. I'd love to have flawless smooth lips like yours! Most enjoyable video, Alla.
Thank you for the compliment. Part of it is genetic with the lips but I use balm on my lips almost daily because they are dry so often. Anything that stays on longer like a a thicker gloss, or lip mask. Hope that helps.
Beautiful! I have several of them; the ones I wear the most are Velvet Affair, Muse, Myth, and Cinnabar. The ones I wear the least are Love of My Life and Fawn, because against my skin, the first looks too bright, and the second too light. I do make them work, however, by mixing them with other lipsticks, or by using them as "toppers" for much deeper lipliners. The quality of Lisa Eldridge's lip products is such that they can be transformed and made into stains, blush, even eyeshadow base!

I’m so glad they are helpful! That’s how I feel about swatches. I found after trying the velvet dry formula I enjoyed the lucent ones much more. But it’s all personal preference so you never know which you will like more.

Thank you for demonstrating all of these! I have been searching CZcams for a video that would show me Lisa's lip pencils plus lipsticks in a comprehensive manner and I couldn't find what I was looking for until I came across yours! Thank you! You did a wonderful job at showing many of them along with matching lipsticks. They all looked great on you! If you had to pick a lip pencil to use on a natural, no make-up look kind of day, just by itself, would you pick Fawn? Or Muse? Or?
I’m so glad the video helped you! Fawn is definitely a more no makeup lip liner. Muse is really pretty but it’s too noticeable and pink for a no makeup look. Not subtle enough. Fawn is a little more peach than I wish it was but out of her liners it’s the nicest of them all for fair skin.

Thank you and I’m so glad it’s helpful to you! They do set. I have a lip liner video try on where I show which one of all the liners I own are the longest lasting and hardest to remove. You would like it!
If you contact the brand about the breakage of some the lipsticks, they might send you new ones, I've heard theirs customer service is very good and they replace them
That’s true their customer service is really good. They ended up refunding me. I think their formula is just dry and they would all be delicate like that. So if you traveled you’d have to be extra careful about them which is a downside to the velvet lipsticks.
@@theolivetone2097 that's great that you got refunded! My experience with them has fortunately been very good and I put them through the wringer! Travelled with them, dropped them on the ground so some are dented, put them in random bags/ front trouser pockets to find them weeks later and still they hold strong!
Im jealous yours has bee so great! The breakage for mine happened really in the first few days of owning them and I am not a rough person with my things. lol. But Im am thankful they were kind enough to help me especially since they are so very expensive and I want to be able to enjoy them still. Im just glad my Lucent ones are in perfect condition because I love them maybe more than the velvets. :)
