Yeah. I forgot they were married, but then I realized that it was part of the series of videos where they talk about how they met and their dating.
I just imagine Matthew there on his knee, holding a ring for like 30 mins, a crowd being around thinking “the poor guy!” And Matt just being like 👁️👄👁️ when Paul was like “what are you doing?” 😂
My favorite part of this is that Paul is actually looking at the camera lens so it feels like he’s making direct eye contact with us, while Matthew is looking off to the side 😅😂
I think you mean Matthew is looking into the camera and Paul is looking at Matthew? Paul is on the right side.
@@MatthewandPaulOfficial no, I meant Paul. Matthew’s eye line looks just to the side of the lens in parts. Like maybe where the record light is. Sorry. I studied TV production through school so these are the things I notice
@@KasterStarI think Matthew is looking at the screen on the camera where the video is showing the two of them. I notice it too with creators. Instead of looking at the centre of the camera they watch themselves filming whether it be just to the side or just up above.
I know when I’m thinking I tend to look to the side. Since Paul is blind maybe he doesn’t feel the need to do that

Is there an alternative to silicon that Matthew can try for his ring? If the silicon is irritating him, maybe there's a different material?
We are currently looking into this... must find a new material quickly. Maybe wood?? hahaha
@@MatthewandPaulOfficial wood could be good, but it would need to be properly treated so Matthew doesn’t get splinters. Maybe some plant based material, it would be unique but wouldn’t irritate maybe?
@@MatthewandPaulOfficial We have some sturdy crisps (potato chips!) here in the UK called Hula Hoops that might do as everyone I know has worn them on their fingers at some point! You might have to use the ‘big’ variety to fit properly tho! You’d have a great little emergency snack too! 😁

It's hard to think of anything more romantic. It was appropriate for this couple. It's something that I only dreamed of, but never will experience. It's great to share in their joy!
While driving across NC today I listened to a podcast 'Open Source" w/ Christopher Lydon. He interviewed Andrew Leland, a man w/ RP, who has recently written a book, 'The Country of the Blind.' Fascinating. A couple of weeks ago I took spider lilies to a 92-y-o friend, blind w/ RP for 60 years. When I got there she asked what kind of flowers I had brought. When I told her she immediately answered w/ 'O, I love spider lilies b/c I can feel all the pieces so easily. After lunch I'll sit down and take a tour of my grandmother's backyard. It was full of spider lilies and was one of my favorite places when I was little."
