I always use a light weight pre-styler & blowdryer to build volume, wax/paste/pomade for texture and shape, and some time a hairspray to finish off, will last til next hair wash.

I have a question: i want to use hair fibre product but want to style with hair clay afterwards.
When i did, the fibre stuck to the hands due to clay in them.
How to style (and keep the hair in place) with both fibre (for cvrng scalp showing) and clay (for style)

Would be great if you could do FHS All Purpose Pomade vs Shear Revival's Gray Ghost. I currently own the FHS pomade and I would love to see if it's worth picking up the SR pomade. :)
Templeton Tonics also seem to have fixed their Oasis Clay in their new creamy batch, you could check that out also and maybe even compare it to Lockhart's Transcend or FHS clay pomade? I've got an Oasis clay from a slightly firmer and tuggier batch but it works wonders with my hair.
Hmm what should I get From the two I have long hair and I like it sliked back AKA the ducktail and I like my hair greasy and wet but I never tried Villan paste only drew fiber but I’m gonna but American forming paste one so from American forming paste and villan paste Which???
Any products you know that are like Hanz De Fuko Quicksand? It got pretty expensive and people say you only get 1.74oz now. Looking for an alternative.

These products didn’t perform well but still a great brand battle nonetheless! I’ve been using label m and it’s becoming my go to, I did recently pick up Lockhart’s Fire and Brimstone clay though and really like it! Cheers Robin 🥂

I was expecting By Vilain to destroy American Crew lmao
Tbh while By Vilain is good they are not GREAT either. The thing that I find with most CZcamsr brands is that they seem to be just a step up from the products you find on the high street.
The only products that I personally liked from them were By Vilain's Gold Digger and Blumaan's Cavalier Clay. I would even dare to think that American Crew's matte clay might be on par with or maybe even better than the By Vilain Dynamite Clay for example.
THEN you look at homebrew brands like Lockhart's, FHS, Shear Revival, O'Douds, Templeton Tonics and realize what powerhouses they are in comparison. Usually with the scent (By Vilain's standard/non-limited scents are kinda meh y'know, also don't get me started on Blumaan's Monarch paste... most recommended homebrew hair products smell absolutely phenomenal), the ingredients, the amount of product you get for your 20ish bucks, the application and hold.
It kinda makes you think what you're actually paying for when you think CZcamsr vs. Homebrew.

Never thought I'd see AC fiber actually beat anything in a brand battle. I used to use it when I first got into hair products and had super short hair.
These days I'm all about unorthodox water based pomades. I'd love to see a brand battle with a couple of those.

TBH I think Blumaan's Original is a better fibre than either of these products. Better hold, better scent, can be used as a prestyler as well.

If you'd like to try an indian brand , Try Beardo's Creampower Hair wax!
American Crew Fiber is probably their best product (out of the Grooming Cream, Forming Cream, Molding Clay,
Pomade and Paste) and I still don’t think is that good.
Edit: The Grooming Cream is pretty good if you’re going for really clean style.

American crew fiber is sooo trasshhh though ....
American Crew Fiber is the worst product I`ve ever used.
Anything that is OILY... Is just disgusting. Grimy and smelly too. Blegh. Yuck.
I love smooth texture and light scent with perfect hold. No crust. No dryness. Just... Like feeling warm soothing plush.
He had us in the first half, not gonna lie 😅
