Wish I could Give 1000 thumbs up. That was the Best Okra recipe ever. the Batter wow great taste, and way more healthy in an air fryer than deep frying. This recipe is completely a "keeper".

I tried okra once in a stew, didn't like it, couldn't get past the slime. Well, a friend gifted me a pound so I found your recipe and thought I would give it a whirl, I'm a bit confused on ingredient amounts like the 1/2 cup of flour? do I divide the 1/2 cup of flour between the dry mix and the wet mix or do I use 1/2 cup each so the total ingredient amount would be one cup of flour? Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks, I rewatched the vid and done just that, will have to say the coating was delicious, the okra was just OK (apparently, I'm not a fan of okra), my daughter thought it was very good and she will make again. I wanted to comment further on your coating mix, it really is a delicious coating that I will use on other things like shrimp, fish, chicken tenders, air fried green tomatoes, etc. I'm sure the uses are endless. Thanks again@@mikethestewburner5505

Hi ,New subscriber especially after watching this amazing Okra recipe ,
    My oldest Son 37
Will love this recipe with the Beer 🍺 in the batter ,
They have a air fryer , him & his wife .
    I haven't gotten one yet ,
I'm thinking of asking for one for my 56th birthday this month ,
    I just don't want a small one ,
I want one like your size .
How many quarts is yours ?
Is that just an air fryer or one of those that do other things ?
Thank you for your service ,
My father is a Vietnam veteran ,My Daughter n laws father was in the Navy for 26 years then retired recently .
    God bless you

    P.S.
I have okra growing the past several months , 2 different varieties.
Star of David & Clemson Spineless
They all grow very fast , If you miss 1 or 2 days going out to pick & yes they will become 7- inches long and woody ,
The star of David are shorter okra and so good fried & but will get Fatter and still longer and woody also if you don't pick daily .The Clemson Spineless are thinner and can grow longer then the star of David before getting woody .
I cut mine up and freeze them for through the winter , As we can't eat okra every day ,
You should get some more from your Farmers market & just cut them up Either the way you did or I cut mine up in slices ,
But after watching your video I'm gonna try cutting long ways- like you did - Thank you for that tip also ,
Then just put in a freezer bag or Vacuum Sealer bags , those last longer .
    NO NEED TO BLANCH ,
You should try growing some SIR,
Okra will grow in any kind of soil/Dirt .
    They really don't need fertilizer,
With prices going up daily ,
Everyone should start a garden , even in small areas ,
Okra only takes about 54 days to mature and will grow right from putting the seeds in the ground at least 16 inches apart down a row .
1 pack of seeds is worth it & then just let a couple dry out for next season & you won't have to buy seeds ever again ,
I use the pods that grew to long and let them dry out ,u will hear them inside if u shake the pod , open up & put in an envelope & save . .
Trying to teach others to grow even your fresh herbs , would save u alot of money ,
I save my herbs , especially basil for during winter , make some pesto or just mix basil leaves cut up with olive oil and put in ice cub trys then in freezer bags ,
Basil all winter or fresh pesto ...as jars of it is getting to expensive, I refuse to use store kind...
    👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
