You can use Sony Stereo Lavalier Microphone ECM-LV1 mic with media mod, works directly without any adapter and sounds really good as well.

did have that prior to this microphone the disadvantage was I couldn't find the right dead cat for it so I gave it away!

One suggestion is that you talk too slow so you should increase your voice volume by around 500-600% while editing
