- I try to answer the question that everybody wants to know. Are lancer tactical m4s bad? It seems to be a big thing on the internet that lancer tactical is a horrible brand, well I wanted to see for myself! I tried to simulate what a year of use would be like.

Lancer Tactical isn't a bad brand. The Gen2s are right up there with G&G Combat Machines and Classic Army Skirmish Series M4s for budget guns. The Gen 3s are really mid tier guns in q polymer body. I had a Gen 1 which isn't a very good gun but Lancer has come a long way since 2016.
I agree. I got a Gen 2 about 3 years ago and it still shoots like new after many games. Even the 9.6v battery it came with is still kicking. It's accurate and has good range for the price. So much hate for no good reason
I bought 3 Gen 2s when they were new back in like 2016 and ASGI had them on sale for less than $90. For that price I was blown away at how good they shot. The 9.6 nimh battery, charger, foregrip, rail covers, and bbs it came with just made them too good to pass up. 2/3 gen 2s still function today and can hop .32s well over 200ft. Not bad for sub $90.

As a person who has one gun and a really crappy $50 Amazon sniper who kind of just got it for the luxe but didn’t realize that it was actually trash. I would love a $150 lancer done. I don’t know why there’s so much hate about it. If it works it works.
My son has a gen 1 and has held up so far over a year of use we will see. I have a gen 3 so far really like it. My younger son just got a gen 3 most people on my field have LT as well with no issues.
I didn't realize the military arms channel was doing the gauntlet on airsoft guns now.
I was going for the tactical scientist look 😂

Recently bought one as my first aeg the LT G2 ME series with full metal body and upgrade internals the only plastic parts were the handguard and stock, as an owner of a LT gun this is painful to watch
I remember having a gen 2 sopmod LT and i loved it. My buddies and i ran 11.1v lipos and we used the shit out of the gun, rain, snow, sun, it was awesome bone stock for a beginner

I personally enjoy my lancer tatical battle x.
I been hearing the complete opposite from people within my state. Even the retailers at the fields and arena's suggest I go with a Lancer Tactical LT series. They say that they rent them out along with CYMA along with others, and from what they tell me, Lancer Tactical is more durable.
Same my local field actually does renatals and they are gen 2s i bought one and played airsoft at my friends property that had a giant mud hill dropped it and drug it thorough it was raining the whole day and i hit it multiple times and it still functioned like normal in fact there was not a single thing different other than being covered in mud

My weapon malfunctioned in my first game. The ETS got a short and the weapon shot fullauto 30 bullets. Happened in germany with 1,2J. Absolute junk.
Im not worries about externals with these. Its the internals these were the retal guns at my arena and while thry look like theyve seen better days, they had no breaks except one had a broken birdcage. I cant say anything about internals because o dont know how many times they broke of were fixed. 99% of the time if a gun breaks its just simply gets repaired and the rental player gets another gun. Everyone says the gearbox is bad. Not so much the externals.

i’d suggest doing double bell they’re supposed to be awful and they are so i suggest an aks74u which is supposed to be horrible

Just look up " Lancer Tactical Gen 2 LT-01 " and you should find many links for this one in particular. Other Gen 2s are also widely available. I have the LT-19 and it's great for the money

I completely agree! The hate came from gen1 because it was trash. Its actually a decent starter gun now.
