- Just when you thought you've seen it all from Kings & Queens of Corbet's, the bar gets raised to another level. This year's men's field was stacked with Olympians, X-Game's gold medalists, local rippers and backcountry huckers. WATCH who took the top 5 men's spots in this year's competition for the crown.

That wall ride is hands down the most creative run at corbets ever. Without a doubt should have won 1st
Edit: I'm a skier from the ice coast so it's not even a skiing favorability. All the runs were crazy but Hans run is just the most gnarly that's it. No hate here on the other riders.

He failed the landing on last jump, and the drop in didn't have a flip so he lost

I'm a skier and i'm convinced that he arrived 2nd only because of the landing of the last jump. I agree that the rock ride was fucking shocking.

This is actually the best format of such a video. Like literally the best moments, highlights with bunch of replays and from different cameras. Not like FWT does - rapid footage which I have to stop and play back 100 times to enjoy the moment. Thank you guys so much! You are the best.

wow that was scary and awesome. i love the fact that there was no music with it. didn't need any. totally exhilarating... and great filming. i absolutely love how these runs were captured on camera... bravo. of course super-skilled skiers and snow boarders as well

Me too I’m only 9 and it’s really hard to get on the chairlifts but I know how to do tricks and parallel ski

HANS! 1st place, easy. Imagine if he had got hung up on the rockwall, and how hard he would have fell. That's one of the craziest moves I've ever seen on a snowboard!
The wallride should have won. No question. Even if you've seen corbet's in real life, that line is still so unimaginable, and so creative. And he nailed it.

Im from the french Alps and and ive skied since I'm 4, but I doubt i would even drop into this couloir, these guys have a massive sack 😮
It's not bad at all the second time you drop into it. The first time is difficult as you can't trust your eyes and it doesn't make any sense to your brain, plus serious little rocks and formations protruding here or there that you have to learn about. Also that massive wall you're sent flying into 50mph. Sending it deep is easier than trying to actually ski it.

I fail to see how a switch 9 on skis beats out 2nd place with a back 270 tail wall ride. A switch 9 on a snowboard would have been 5th or 4th at best.

@@Red1676 Jackson Hole is actually big cowboy and ranching country, the resort's logo is the silhouette of a rodeo bronc rider and there's a Rodeo in Jackson every year. The pen the bronc (or bull) and rider are held in prior to riding is called a chute, same as Corbet's is a chute. If given the choice would you fly off a ramp and send down Corbet's, or saddle one of the bulls in the chutes in the video link provided and send into the arena...? czcams.com/video/im4ergA2QYI/video.html

One thing I will never understand about competitive skiing / snowboarding is that flips & spins seem to always beat creativity.
Spin to win seems to be the name of the game, my favourite boarder is Torstein horgmo, he can spin like the rest but has so much more style than a lot of the new gen

Not knocking the skiiers as they are on another level then me. But the Snowboarder who jibs the wall. Entire new level. For viewers who don't ski and snowboard. Skiis have so much advantage as you literally can sit your but down and as long as you have the confidence. You will make it, the only hard part is not going over your skiis when you land. Easier said then done on this hit. Snowboarder, he has to maintain balance fore and aft, along with side to side. There is no "safe position" that allows your gear to do all the work. So that wall wide was probably the most dangerous thing I have scene. Easy first place in my book 😀
