    Thanks for the video Rich. I met you in Orlando, I was in the beat up red 67 GTO. I dropped a valve about half way to South Georgia. Learning the hard way.

    Thanks Richard. Really appreciate the insights and tech. I have been following your journey for a few years now, forums (like PY), your podcast, etc. Think I am going to covert my 72 GTO drag car to a drag and drive deal. Converting a 16 to 1 n/a 535 carbonated Pontiac to a drag and drive street car may take some changes, lol. But heck it already has a GF-5R and single sintered iron McLeod (old Hyatt) unit in it. I just bought a place in Florida so maybe I'll give it a run at Sik Week some time. I'm an old guy that going to need to figure out power adders and FI....hahahaha Good luck Sir, you are an inspiration..

    Love the technical info. On your lash, most solids rollers I’ve run set at .020-.025. Yours are set way tighter. How did you determine the cold .005 lash? What was originally called out for lash? Thanks

    • @Canadianchucknorris69

    Without revealing too many secrets, what's the best stick shift trans and clutch combination and set up.

    • @Canadianchucknorris69
      @Canadianchucknorris69  Před 5 měsíci +1

      That’s a great question with probably a few different answers depending on application. But for me who drives everywhere, a T56 magnum with 6 gears is hard to beat, as far as clutch I do love my single 11” from Black magic, great durability, great pedal pressure on the street, if you don’t want to go adjustable I would look at a diaphragm that can more than hold for your application and use a Bang Shift Billy to slip the clutch.

  • @Bajahaha70

    .716 lift and a 7000 mile round trip wow! How many rpm do you let it turn? And how often do you change springs? I just love seeing you and billy duke it out 2 awesome cars and great people!

    • @Canadianchucknorris69
      @Canadianchucknorris69  Před 5 měsíci +2

      2200rpm is 80mph down the highway with its current set up. You don’t want to know how long these valve springs have been in there…. 35000k miles ish!

    • @Canadianchucknorris69
      @Canadianchucknorris69  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Aluminum might hold up but I see too many breaking in the drag and drive scene, I have manley stainless valves

    Where do you feed the value cover oil sprayers from?

    • @Canadianchucknorris69
      @Canadianchucknorris69  Před 5 měsíci +1

      On the back of the pontiac engine there is a port that I use to feed the sprayers, it is metered so not spray full flow.

    • @russellbroadwell
      @russellbroadwell Před 5 měsíci

      @@Canadianchucknorris69 is it metered by a bypass regulator, or is size restricted?

    • @Canadianchucknorris69
      @Canadianchucknorris69  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@russellbroadwell it has a restrictor like a modified air bleed in the 4an fitting on the supply side
